I downloaded and watched The Dark Knight Rises from iTunes last night. That scene was cut out.

not only does he change his story to taking the kids to the fire station in this interview, in all other interviews he says the parents picked them up at his house over the course of several hours.

when he tells the story of the mother coming to her house later asking if her kid was there, in all other interviews he refers to "checking his casualty list later about 6pm" and the kids name was on it, but at 1:55 in this interview, after telling this same story he states "I've got to find out about that kid" as if he does not know if the kid was alive or dead.

just another change in the narrative, once they realised he couldn't have had a "casualty list" at that time...

I think this interview was made first. It was made to a local newspaper. I think the national media then found it on the local media's website and conducted their own interviews. You can still see it on that newspaper's website.


So the story first was that he took them to the fire station (which he says here) and then later it was that the kids stayed at his house for hours (which, I thought was strange). What would you do if you had these kids show up at your house? You'd call the police and ask where you should take the kids. They would tell you to take them to the fire house, because that's where everyone was gathered.
