British Columbia and Marijuana

I went to Nelson, BC a year or so ago.. Its like a couple hours from Vancouver. There was a shop there called Holy Smoke. They sold weed and mushrooms right out of the store, also there were people smoking everywhere. A cop saw me smoking on the sidewalk and didn't even look twice. People call Vancouver the Amsterdam of North America, or Vansterdam so I could imaging it would be atleast as lenient if not more. But DUI's are one of the worst crimes there!

You dont need citizenship.. There is no actual legality to it, it is just way more lenient than here in the US. And the reason you should not take it out of province is that BC is the only province that doesn't really care about it. Alberta is a bit more strict and I think it only gets worst as you move east.

Nelson is beautiful, though. If you really want the BC experience then move somewhere smaller with plenty of nice places to smoke! when I was living in Nelson I was told that 2 out of 3 households grow it. the bud's hidden in the Kootenay mountains :) Valhalla!!

I live on Van. Island and it's easy to get. $160-200/ounce for pretty good stuff. things are slower on the island but there are still some bad cops so you always gotta be a little discrete.
