why are the 13 apostle women not mentioned in the bible?
they are referred to as "the women" in the book of acts... plus mary the mother...

imagine being told, surrounded by a society dominated by men, that you are their equals.. both mentally and spiritually...you are given access to the indwelling spirit of the father and compelled to teach others about this message of love and equality.

This is what these women did

yet generations later.. this equality was lost..and patriarchal reign occurred almost instantly after jesus was crucified...

most people at the time just couldn't comprehend this about women...

so if the bible is gods book, why is there no emphasis on the divine feminine and also these groups of apostles who also taught.. WHO DID NOT ABANDON JESUS , who stated at his side...

hm...

A better question may well have been why are there 13 bankers families, why were there 13 colonies, why including jesus were there 13.

saviors come in all shapes and sizes, usually however to save a select few.

its listed in the bible as "the women"...

there are other scriptures out there,

do names matter?

i can quote from scripture, but does that make it valid?

isn't the message behind the message what matters?

not the actual message..

You're the one who mentioned the number 13, not I. Nor do I remember Scripture calling women "apostles." They may well have been called that, but to say so without anything to back it up is sheer speculation.

An evenhanded look at Scripture, however, will reveal much more of an emphasis on women than other literature of that cultural period.

Re: why are the 13 apostle women not mentioned in the bible?
The woman, in scripture, represents the soul..which must be disciplined and brought into agreement with the spirit which is in union, by the Holy Spirit, with God. (WE are one)

Women are "spirit men" too..
3 times must the males of Israel appear before The Lord"

This, symbolically meant everyone in Christ Jesus for it speaks of the spirit within the mortal..(there are no males or females in Christ Jesus). No all people come to God in three experiences..represented by the feasts..

Passover..born again..a baby
"Ye must be born again"
Come unto me, ye who need rest"

Pentecost..stripping of desires,earthly entanglements
"I buffet my body..."
"I die daily..."

Tabernacles..death of self
"I no longer live but Christ lives in me"
"the glory that will be revealed in us"
"until we come to the unity of Christ.."
"the whole of creation awaits the manifestation of the Sons of God"
For the one guy..Paul was answering a question..in the next verse he says "What! You think the word of God comes to you alone." The most annointed teacher I ever met was a woman.
