He always makes me think of 'Nosferatu', from the old vampire movies.

The pope is 85 years old, his back is pretty well permanently bent, as such his head remains tilted down, he has no other choice but to look up through his eyebrows to look forward.

Aside from the Catholic slant in all his writings (I have no idea why he is so heavily influenced by Catholicism), you get a clear picture of the charity and patient understanding that the man really has.

Methinks you are reading too much into it. But if you want to go there, then the fact is the man thinks he is God's supreme representative on Earth. In my opinion, it's quite malevolent for one man to claim that kind of power. Just because he was elected by a bunch of men who probably got in their positions by greasing the right wheels doesn't grant him that kind of authority.

I'm sure he's written plenty of feel-good peace and love stuff to help prove he's a good guy. But if he were a good man I doubt he would be occupying that position.

We live in an age where we judge what is true by a good or bad looking photo image. God judges hearts in a true way and true justice. I am not defending the idolitries of a catholic church; but am reminded to judge people by looking at their life , not a picture of them.
