Jesus in turn would air grievances as to how his name was put on a Holiday that neither he himself celebrated, nor commanded his true followers to celebrate, a celebration whose roots can be traced back to Pagan Rome, with its mixture of festivals of honoring the agricultural god Saturn and the sun god Sol. yes, Jesus has grievances with the "deities" that put his name on a pagan holiday. a man made holiday with no truth to back it. As Jesus said at Matthew 15:9- "It is in vain that they keep worshipping me, because they teach commands of men as doctrines".
