Re: Motivation. What is it?
I guess in the end, it's the psychedelic part of weed that affects your paranoia.

Because GABA is amazing, and from what I've learned D2 can be good as well.

In my eyes, THC sucks.

You know in Israel, they're currently growing a pure 'CBD' strain of weed?

I wish I could get some of that.

It's everything I've always wanted.

Also, look up phenibut. GABA rules.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28786595

Heh. Well the thing about THC is that it is a partial agonist. That means it is actually reducing the "point" effects of the cannabinoid system; it therefore acts to boost general CBr activity while reducing the influence of any one activated system. It almost seems like human beings were "designed" to ingest THC.

At the same time, CBD is excellent. It is better than every single antipsychotic drug in the treatment of schizophrenia. And with none of the negative effects. It also feels quite nice. LOL.

I was once someone to be interested in GABAergic drugs, but in the past few months, I have decided they aren't really "my thing" so to speak. Phenibut does look useful however, I have seen excellent reviews on social anxiety forums.
 Quoting: pi

Imagine it.

Infinite amounts of weed that will never make you paranoid.

It's heaven.

And the whole thing about THC, I really think we'd be better off without it.

It's great once in a while, for self-reflection and analysis, but when you want to use it for stress or insomnia or something of the sort.

It really becomes an issue.

Do yourself a favor and order phenibut online.

Make sure you get it from LifeMode.

The first time you do it use 1 gram. You can mix it in water (tastes very disgusting) or you can parachute it.

Either way it's an amazing drug.

But be careful, I'm speaking from experience. I did 9 grams one day with a few friends and we all ended up on the floor puking with terrible stomach aches.

And don't even mention the hangover.

Treat it almost like you would alcohol and you'll be fine.

Music sounds AMAZING on it, almost like mdma.

Re: Motivation. What is it?
Yeah you're kind of going into cognitive behavior therapy.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28786595

When did I mention the need for corrective intervention? Do you examine life through the lense of theraputic necessity? Do you hold to an ideal which places those who do not reach such an ideal in need of some kind of fixing? A tomato, even an ideal, most perfect tomato, doesn't try and talk a lettuce into therapy, they just get together and make a salad.

It is a sad state on the world that self-control is a therapy, a corrective, rather than an instructive. Ahh, man was born into a state of illness and must march down to the therapist for a confession of their inadequacy.

The poor seedling tomato that must be under go extensive therapy sessions instead of just being tied to a stake.

Heh, that's cool, though I have an INCREDIBLE tolerance to cannabinoid-induced anxiety. I can take massive overdoses of the synthetic full-agonists and feel only bliss lol.

At the same time I often find myself craving a super-strong Indica strain, lots of CBD.

I'll look into that source, thank you. I'm also interested in GBL/GHB. Have you tried either of those, and if so, how does phenibut compare?

Yes I actually do.

It's not a bad thing, I just tend to find the good in people, whether that be potential or heart or whatever.

A lot people don't believe in themselves, and I can see it.

I can feel it.

It's not "fixing" as you put it. It's helping. Some people never get help.

People are capable of so much.

And until you understand that you will not understand my thread.

How ironic.

I just bought this book for a family member for Christmas.

I was reading it a few hours ago.

You have tolerance lol. I used to be able to smoke 3 or 4 blunts in a row but I would just geek out and eat everything in my house and blast music.

And indicas are amazing but the burnouts and couchlocks and munchies are terrible.

With the whole GHB thing, I've heard it's great but never tried it personally.

Re: Motivation. What is it?
humans are material beings, matter has the tendency to rest until a force is inserted. i think, it can be both, fear of bad things and reward with good things. maybe it is a mixture.
 Quoting: icepack

But material things just means our crude bodies obey the laws of newtonian physics. The anolog of motivation is wrong because motivation is based on character and character, as Heraclitus, said is destiny, or more exactly, your daemon is your destiny. So what is bad to one can be good to another. Some are not motivated by material concerns and some others are. Some get the gold fever and others choose to live in penury to satisfy their souls, and others a round of neti, neti.

Some would argue a blank slate, with character being a creation of experience but even in the womb mothers feel the difference. Another over looked thing is space, or more exactly organization, including symmetry and a symmetry and juxtapostion. We more often look at time and miss the stuff of space.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 20754036

imo, it is not the demon. energy, your master and your servant. for some it is god for others it is the devil, but in reality, it is only one entity, the creating force in every living thing.

Actually I go through very little weed on a daily basis. Though I agree, tolerance, lol. Mine is permanent, I am sure.

What I'd really like is sativa in the morning and indica at night. That was case when I lived in another town than I do now. Sigh... really good dealers are hard to come by lol.

And yeah, I've also heard GHB is great. I could see myself being super addicted to it though lol.

I wish I could smoke..

Try to get a medical card if you live in the right state.

Also, anything that affects GABA is potentially very addicting.

Take alcohol or Xanax for example.

People die from alcohol withdrawals.

Not something to mess around with you know.

A great pick me up though, I consider phenibut like non-prescription Xanax, but better.

Xanax gets rid of your anxiety but it doesn't give you the high feeling that phenibut provides.

You won't regret it.

Interesting, I have a mild clonazepam dependence at the time being. I have also used lorazepam extensively but never developed dependence.

I am intrigued by how you have characterized phenibut; I get no "euphoria" or "bliss" from benzodiazepines, but I have long suspected that a more direct GABA activator, like a barbiturate, or phenibut, would get me "high" so to speak.

"β-Phenyl-γ-aminobutyric acid (phenylGABA), better known as phenibut or less commonly fenibut or phenybut, is a derivative of the naturally occurring inhibitory neurotransmitter γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA). The addition of a phenyl ring allows phenibut to cross the blood brain barrier."

You can use the phenibut, in low doses to kick the clonazepam addiction.

If you take it to get high, it is comparable to getting cross-faded. Drunk then high. The best thing in the world.
