That's not necessarily true. If Israel where to ever seriously go to war with anyone or they were attacked with a WMD or if they even remotely thought they were going down they have a plan that is based off of the story of Samson where they destroy the world. They believe if they fall then it is the end of the world already and that it is their duty as children of God to destroy the wicked. But the likeliness of that happening is pretty slim, but it still could happen any day.
If Japan and China go to war the US will get pulled into it and then Russia and then most likely the majority of the EU would have to help. That clearly would be a third World War. But again the fear of doom is holding it back but it still again could happen any day because of the dick measuring contest going on.
North Korea any day now could just say fuck it and nuke Japan, which would lead to a very brutal and dirty conflict. If they decided to nuke Japan then why wouldn't they nuke anyone else? This is a sketchy ordeal because we have no clue what they are trying to pull every thing that goes on in that country is so shady, we could see a group of people who we thought were farmers who in reality were mining nuclear materials just because we have no real way of knowing unless they do something terribly stupid.
China again stated that they wouldn't tolerate anyone fucking with Iran even if it means another World War. That is the most likely of scenarios seeing as Iran has been being dicks and so has Syria for that matter. Any day now shit could hit the fan over there.
But the fact that everyone on Earth thinks shit is coming to a screech may be our only blessing seeing as nobody wants to die except Israel apparently.

Why?

It is more of a slippery slope than any one event, but there will be some key moments that many historians later will point to as the singular point in time when TSHTF. For some, it will be the Oct-Dec 2013 period. For many more, it will be the Oct 2014 - March 2015 winter period. Everyone will agree that TS will have already HTF by mid-2016; the much ballihooed "second US civil war" starts in 2016 and technically lasts until 2018, and 2017 will be the worst of what is coming, by a long shot, so if you are a prepper, that's the biggie you want to survive through.

But even after the official war is over in 2018, the next ten years will be very challenging, and the mortality rate in our nation will still be very high then compared to now. A new, different kind of civil conflict will erupt almost immediately after the 2016-2018 war ends, and it will escalate into its own maximum instability point between 2024-2026.

This is no bump in the road coming. It's big, it's bad, and it's gonna last a long time.

No doom is instantaneous. There is always a build up to it. Just like the coldest temperatures in winter are weeks and months past 12/21, the same will be true about the earthquake doom. There will be a lull and everyone will let their guard down. Then wham!!! big earthquakes effecting the world, causing tidal waves and massive death. Then marshal law and gun confiscation like in Katrina. Just be prepared cause the USA could look like the Edgar Casey map after all the quakes and tidal waves....
