The worst thing you can do is stay home and brood.

Force yourself to clean up, dress nice and go hang with some friends and/or family or at least someplace with a lot of people, a lot of light and noise. Pretty girls all dressed up for Christmas, go out and see them, I bet half a dozen will drop "girl clues" on you but we idiot boys miss most of them.

Your still You and the fact that you ponder your situation and have emotion tells me your a worthwhile person.

Hey I'd invite you over for Christmas dinner and some wine and beer if you were in NY.

So go out, you deserve it, things will change, they always do.
