Most people may not notice. But they will pay attention if Congress decides to start taxing employer-sponsored health insurance, one of the options in play if lawmakers can ever agree on a budget deal to reduce federal deficits. It leads to corrupt pharmaceutical companies to resort to unethical practises for profit at our expense. The bankruptcy and liquidation of someone who works 10x more than some billionaire because they needed heart surgery to live. There needs to be a revolution, and this is a good place to start. Obama's plans are going to fetter the market rather than eliminate it, leaving a bad taste in every ones mouth. Terminate private health care and force all employers to contribute their assets which we have provided for them. Doing this alone will untie billions in salaries which are going to death panels and line CEO drug company pockets. Throw those fucks on the street and make them find a real job. In a just society, an unemployed bum should pay the same as a billionaire for healthcare. ZERO. This issue should go beyond federal deficits and cause us to re-examine the corrupt principles this country was founded on. Last Edited by krosty on 12/25/2012 12:22 PM |

If they decide on taxation to "solve the problems" then the bond market will force austerity or interest rates will rise, becoming an exponentially increasingly larger percentage of the budget mandating more deficit spending and debt forcing interest rates higher. Meanwhile higher taxes will reduce discretionary spending in an economy where 70% is based on consumer spending, thus reducing GDP and lowering wages thus lowering taxes they hoped to receive mandating more deficit spending - see above. Finally they will open the printing presses full steam destroying the dollar and plunging the world into a cataclysmic collapse the likes unseen thus solving the budget problems. |
