I got two Diamond Candles from hubby and a 72-marker set of Prismacolor watercolor markers and 20 sheets of watercolor paper. My parents gave me a $125 gift certificate to Sears, a handmade necklace and earrings, and a pair of slippers. Very happy with my goodies!

I received the greatest gift from the man i was dating (had a thread here about this, it is over)i could have thought about:

as he is a doc himself and knows how much i love my grandma, even as he has no obligation to me or her (as we know each other barely for more than 1 month), he helps me a lot coping with the doctors at the hospital.

(I myself gave my birthday (which was on the 24th) to my grandma who is in hospital right now.
besides staying on the 24th with her, i also did not go out and celebrate myself, because i wanted to be with her on the 25th in the morning.
same today to be with her tomorrow morning.
i love her dearly, and as other relatives who live in the same city either don´t even visit her or if they do, just stay for about 30minutes, it depends on me to help her with eating, taking medicine and being company.)


regardless he stayed with his family for the holidays, he managed to make phonecalls to her doctors, suggestions and helped me understand the medical terms.

i am grateful beyond words for this.

I got a ukulele among a few other things.

A set of pots and pans and a pillow. woo hoo party.

Oh and I got called a bitch by the man who supposedly loves me. Life is good. Merry Christmas.

haha! i dont watch tv, but i have seen bits of project runway at friends houses. I am not too into high fashion. It is a lot harder to sew that kind of thing. One really has to have an educational background in textiles to do it well. but it is beyond fun to buy a pattern and do some pre-designed stuff. I mainly do things like baby quilts, placemats, and bit of applique stuff. small things. The circular saw i am going to use to build things to sell!! I recently started making a small pile of money buy hitting up thrift stores and remodelling furniture. A five dollar table sells for 40. But when i ran out, i just started making items, charging a few more $$. I highly reccomend it to anyone wanting to find a fun way to make money grow.

We got some 4 inches here this afternoon (just north of dallas). Lovely white christmas for my son!

Somebody gave me Old Spice deodorant and aftershave.

But it's okay, because she is nearly 92 year old.

So far giftwise, it has been a really crappy year - no loot. LOL!

But it's still a great Christmas because the angels are closer to the earth this time of year. I love that visual.
