Ok I will put it this way: Next year the bottom falls out of our economy, the dollar spirals into the abyss. While waiting for hours in a bread line the " lucky" and the "connected" are buying every last damn staple of food in sight . Now , you as Johnny come lately are left to pay these douche bags whatever their asking price or your family starves!
Same general supply and demand at work but far greater consequences . How many on this thread would be spouting the same argument for this get it first or get left out argument
It's about morals , if people will screw you for profits, they will definitely screw you when your life or your family's lives are in the balance.
This country used to not be like this, guess its just easier to pretend that's it a left vs. right deal. Our grandparents and great grandparents survived the Great Depression by working together and looking out for one another.
Today America has become a shadow of its former self . Our moral compass is broken therefore my glp friends ... We be fucked!

Every person in this country has had years to stockpile food. AT ever $2 a week, you can stockpile a lot of food in a year.
So lets say you stockpile food,guns, and ammo spending extra money. you do without going to movies and driving nicer cars. you wear your clothes a little longer than your neighbors. you sacrifice, so that you can build a security net for your family.
the guy down the street from you, buys a new car every two years, buys every new thing, has multiple credit cards, and has been going out to the bar/movies every night, blowing all his money, without a care in the world, while you sat home saving money.
Now, things collapse, there is no food at the store, and no one knows when there will be food at the store. you have enough food for 1 year for your family, but you do not know if it will be enough, as you do not know how long bad times will last. Are you going to want to give your food stores to the guy that failed to prepare?
If you save up and pay cash for things and avoid credit, and this causes you to have en extra car, and your idiot neighbor drives with no insurance and wastes all his money, are you going to give him your extra car, because you have it and he doesn't??
Or are you going to recognize that in this circumstance, everyone started out equal, and the reason some have food, or ammo, or a car, is because those people sacrificed and prepared, and the reason other people do not, is because they lived frivolously and wasted their time and money.
The people standing in the food line with no food are standing in that line because they made poor decisions which forced them into that line.
