So you feel safe, do you, trotting down the street. Which street ? Hope it's not the same street leading to the same shopping centre where a 'crazed lone gunman' decided to shoot someone up and ended up shooting a middle aged woman doing her weekly shopping

Hope it's not the street where people are killed with knives, screwdrivers, broken bottles or simply strangled and kicked to death


Your statistics are bullshit and you know it. Aussies rue the day they allowed themselves to be stripped of their guns by the first of the fake 'lone gunmen' massacres. The rue the bloody day and if the obscene gun-ban were lifted tomorrow, you'd be the ONLY Australian who wouldn't be down the shop buying a firearm

Pound for pound, Aussies are at least as violent as anything suffered by the US and I do not accept that you're unaware of that, even though police commissioners such as that fat bitch from Victoria LIE about the statistics, particularly as they apply to violent muslim and african migrants/refugees

As far as 'legalised weapons' in Australia are concerned, they are 'legal' in the case of some rural folk but must be locked in gun cabinets and if that 'legal' gun is used to harm another, all hell would come down on that rural person's head --- and you KNOW that. The other 'legal' form of gun ownership in Australia applies to gun-clubs, in which case the restrictions of ownership are onerous -- again as you KNOW. And the duck shooting brigade who are compelled by law to treat their guns as if they were radioactive plutonium and again, who're subject to very restrictive laws

The average Aussie cannot, under any circumstances ever, own a gun for self protection

Aussies are prevented from availing themselves of sprays as means of protection

Aussies are not allowed to carry knives around for protection

Aussies are DEFENCELESS and even if they defend themselves against armed, drugged-out potential murderers, Aussies are arrested, charged and required to defend their right to save their own lives in a court of law

Criminals in Australia possess guns. They also possess knives, broken bottles, tyre levers, baseball bats and spear fishing guns. And when they kill and maim, the law subjects them to sentences Americans consider ludicrously lenient as thousands of Youtube comments attest

But you go on feeling secure as you sashay down the street -- until something happens to cause you to shit yourself or die

Me -- I'd prefer to carry a nice lethal little gun, nothing too obtrusive or ostentatious, just in case I need it

And I defend the right of Americans to defend themselves and yes --- to bring a gun to a knife fight. In the past day alone, we've seen here in this forum where elderly Americans have saved their own and others lives because they had a gun right there when they needed it. Without their guns, they'd be in a box now, in a state of rigor mortis. I'm sure they're more than happy to be alive instead of victim to someone who demonstrated no respect for their right to live

I encourage Americans to research the UK and Australian hoaxed 'massacres' which resulted in the loss of UK and Aussie guns. And I'm confident that the vast majority of Aussies agree with me
