Soda Pop Doom!! Soda Linked to Lung Disease
original studies from the last 4 years...

more than 64 oz a day

colleagues found that folks who drank this level of soda had a higher prevalence of asthma and COPD than those who didn't drink any (14.7% versus 11.9% and 6% versus 4.2%, respectively).

In multivariate analyses adjusting for sociodemographic factors, intake of fruit and vegetables, and other life style factors, drinking half a liter of soda a day was associated with an odds ratio of 1.26 for asthma (95% CI 1.01 to 1.58) and an OR of 1.79 for COPD (95% CI 1.32 to 2.43) compared with never drinking soda.

its your mucus-filled diet. toss the dairy and grains and watch your lungs improve. supplement iodine and watch them recover. nebulize colloidal silver and watch them repair and gain function and capacity.

do this or be just another codpiece for ozzy.

lugols iodine - 100mg or more per day. or you can take potassium iodide[KI, SSKI, PIMA(prescription syrup prescribed as an expectorant)] taken by the gram.

best lung medicine i have ever used.

copd is NOT a smoking disease, it just has more symptoms and is exacerbated by smoking. not saying smoking is good for you(though joe vialls has written a piece that says it is helpful in some ways. the AMA journal used to advertise cigs as an aid to digestion), but lung problems are diet problems.

everyone shoul dbe taking at least 100mg of iodine a day or the future looks bleak for those who dont.

Okay so 128oz is a gallon. Two quarts of pop a day?? Quite a bit, like 2 liters of pop. Does no good in the summer when digesting all that sugar. Need water instead then.

Re: Soda Pop Doom!! Soda Linked to Lung Disease
My wife used to drink two 2 Liters of Soda a day...
This way years ago, maybe 10 years then she went down to 1 liter a day and then was diagnosed with Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension 3 years back (after almost 3 years of passing out & almost dying 3 times) and has NEVER snoked!
So the soda theory seems very likely, even though my dad never developed any lung conditions and he drank about the same amount of soda per day, but drank nearly the same amount of water as an equal, but my wife never hardly ever drank water. So this makes me wonder if she stopped drinking soda altogether (she drinks about 1/2 a liter a day now and nearly that much in water now) if he body might slowly go back to normal after evacuating the carbon dioxide?
PAH is nothing to laugh about, at 40 she is on Oxygen and special medicines that cost waaay too much and sometimes has issues walking to the bathroom on bad days- esp during that time of the month. But after that time of the month she can almost go without the O2, so a new batch of blood devoid of carbon dioxide could be the reason until she gets that 1st glass of soda in here.
Any thoughts from knowledgeable member who are Trolls???
Thanks in advance!!!

the docs will kill her eventually. iodine is good for lungs because it displaces bromine. inhalants have deadly bromine. it makes you psychotic, too. she will never know what hit her.

and your dad, he managed to stay hydrated. worst thing for the lungs - dehydration and drought in them. the cough is a dead giveaway.

Please learn instead of rushing to expound off beat dangerous quack medical practises.
Silver is silver is silver.
Silver is a metallic chemical element with the chemical symbol Ag

Historically "colloidal silver", a liquid suspension of microscopic silver particles, was ingested as an internal medication to treat a variety of diseases. Their use was largely discontinued in the 1940s, following the development of modern antibiotics.Since the 1990s, the ingestion of colloidal silver has again been marketed as an alternative medicine, often claiming impressive "cure-all" qualities. The effectiveness of these products has never been scientifically proven, and in some jurisdictions, it is currently illegal to include such claims in product advertisements. Medical authorities and publications advise against the ingestion of colloidal silver preparations, because of their lack of proven effectiveness and because of the risk of adverse side effects such as argyria.

MAKE HER STOP DRINKING IT NOW! AND Stop eating ANYTHING with corn syrup in it.

It will kill her. It is the corn syrup in it that is poisoning her and everyone else who consumes it. I used to drink at least a 2 liter a day then cut back to 2- 20z then a year ago I cut it out all together along with all food containing corn syrup. I lost 70lbs and no longer have diabetes, high blood pressure or high cholesterol. I am healthier than I have been in my entire adult life.

HFCS is poison and is the cause of most obesity and health problems in this country in the last 30 years or so since they began putting it in everything. You can develop an intolerance for it. I could no longer eat it because I began having unbearable stomach pain anytime I ate something with it in it and could not keep anything down.

It is very hard and takes a lot of time and willpower to completely change your diet but you have to, we all have to if you don't want to die a premature death.
