I couldn't agree more. Our jail system is fueled by quotas due to the fact that jails get money per capita. This creates a system motivated by greed instead of doing whats right and wrong. The whole program needs to be revamped, but of course it won't be any time soon because of the lobbyists working for the prison systems.

Someone incarcerated for drug use is one thing...rapists, pedophiles and LWP murderers are another...

Although the idea is a little scary, especially if you have kids. I have to agree with whoever said this is problematic posting this so casually, as if there isn't enough panic and fear already. I can see if you found this link just randomly, or someone sent it to you, but to physically look for articles that you can post here just to use to scare people, I find that somewhat dangerous, and I don't really see the purpose of it. The atmosphere here hasn't been the type to 'look' for more ammunition, we should maybe calm down for a week or so, because at this point it looks lime people here are ready for some imaginary fight with someone, and that's not a safe way to think.
