Will Christmas lift the frosty spell? Quoting: JUST HERE The cold weather that has Russia in its icy embrace has been causing all kinds of havoc. Flights and buses delayed and cancelled, many schools have been closed, and there have been power outages just when power is most needed. In the town of Kyshtym, the Urals, 14,000 people are still waiting for the central heating to be restored. On Sunday a break in the central pipe left residents anxiously watching the red line on their home thermometers plunging as temperatures outside slid to -24C (-11F). [link to rt.com] -50c BS. only -30 now. central heating in Kyshtim aleready repaired. It's not work about 3-4 hours - as man who work on power plant i can say that is 3-4 hours not enough to freeze off central heating. Also. This temperatures are normal there. if on the nothest Siberia point temperature beats lowest level temp for 1c about last 50 years - it's not reason to panic. p/s/ HARPSHMARP IS WATCHING YOU Thanks for the information. You stay warm!! |

They die and stuff because they're not adapted to live in that type of environment. If they had gone home they would have survived, instead they died because they're morans and stayed where they are not supposed to be (another failure for multicultural garbage). It's like negroes here, when it's like 15 degrees they put on winter jackets. I'm like WTH? You still walk in t-shirts at +15 degrees, but to them it's cold. :amazing: Well, that is cold to a lot of people of all colors. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 17922672 United States 12/25/2012 08:56 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I grew up in Maine, and my husband and I lived there for 4 years before moving back here to North Carolina. There the winters are normally about -20F to -40F. The last year there it got so cold that even power lines were snapping, and most of us were without power for close to 2 weeks. At that time it was -60F due to wind chills. But still many had to go to shelters if their cars were not dead. We however had a wood stove and we were good. Quoting: pmb1 Through the years I heard stories that were passed down from my parents of how cold it had gotten in Maine, it had gotten so cold one year in Aroostook county that the birds fell from the trees dead. That type of cold doesn't happen any more but still when we see that type of cold we all can start worrying again. What part of Aroostook county? |

And no matter how many think its manly or good to endure cold, there are children and elderly and that need a warm heart and teamwork to get through this weather. Watch out for the little guys. The test has always been about that. The pole shift mentioned, if it goes the normal course, will take a long time, and its not the physical poles. The Devil tries to convince everyone he doesn't exist. The state tries to convince everyone they cannot resist. Do not go quietly into the good night. Rage Rage against the dying light! |

For example perhaps 1 or 2 days a week you'll see -5 F or - 6 F in places like North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin. New York area will probably see 10-15 F temps. January will be below average in America. |
