I was looking at stereo images in space and over the last couple of days have seen, which I think is a asteroid/comet heading towards a planet. I'm not sure if its earth or not, but it does look like it could hit whichever planet thats showing on the right. I need someones expertise on this please. Just go to the website of Stereo Science Center, on their home page on the left goto (ARCHIVE)(browse data) and then (Browse resources:)(STEREO image search tool/movie maker). On which telescope, choose (Behind Hl1), Resolution (512X512), Start and End Dates (20121222-20121225), Display (Slideshow) and Search. When you look at the center/right of the screen you can see a pretty large anomaly, revelent to the planet that its heading towards on the right. Hopefully I can get some feedback on this apparent asteroid/comet. I was hoping people would go to the Stereo Science Center website and plug in those parameters above to see this asteroid tumbling through space. It now looks like it lowered itself a little bit, so that it will directly impact the planet on the right. It there anyone out there who can confirm this thing!!! Here you can see it moving from left to right!!
