Those who doubt and mistrust SCIENCE and the opinoins of the elite SCIENTIFIC community (rightly so) are often the first to claim the word of some SCIENTIST as PROOF OF THE VALIDITY of their own personal beliefs.

We have to stop polution regardless. To many people being to wasteful. Driving pig SUV'S. We will run out of resources if we keep it up and already are and now they are concidering ripping apart Colorado for shale oil which is huge bad for the enviroment. Very costly also and will use all the natural gas up doing it. Look at Fort Mcmurry's oil sands and all the polution there. The tailings ponds are second to the Three Gorges Dam in that they hold that much waste water that has been used to make oil from the sands. It makes no sense. None of it.

We have other means to create energy but it is important to keep the world hooked on oil for various reasons including political ones. Were fucked no matter which way you look at it.
