I suppose that limit occurs when there would be so much greater damage to the innocent, when God is being merciful, than if he let those deserving punishment reap what they've sown. Perhaps some evil ones simply cannot be changed...and they can only be bound, to ensure the well being of all others. Although I do like to contemplate this idea, what if God (or others like myself) could be so merciful that we would forgive even the worst devil. |

You need to search the Scriptures for yourself and not rely on what ANYONE tells you. Read Revelation chapter 20. verse 3 an angel throws the devil into the abyss and shuts and seals it over him, until the millenium is completed; afterwards he will be released for a short time (WHY I HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO UNDERSTAND...I DON'T THINK GOD TELLS US ANYWHERE).. then verse verse 7 at the end of them millenium,, satan is released from the abyss and will come out to deceive the nations, fire will devour them. verse 10 the devil will be thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and false prophet are, and they WILL BE TORMENTED DAY AND NIGHT FOREVER. We cannot fathom how evil these beings are. Personally, I have to research these things for myself when I have questions.
