Interesting Documentaries?
Yo so I'm a little bored atm and was wondering if any of you would recommend any interesting documentaries, i like stuff like how we evolved, or how our brains work, or even stuff our bodies can do. I'm also into the whole ancient past kind of stuff.UFO's and what not.
A couple months ago I saw one of us supposedly being related to mermaids i found interesting, even though I didn't believe it. But it was still a good way to kill time.

Anything would be appreciated thx.

I love documentaries - all kinds!

Jiro Dreams of Sushi is pretty good. So is Wasteland. They're non-conspiracy though...

On the conspiracy list there are a lot, as I'm sure you know. Some good ones I can think of right off the bat are Collapse, Zeitgeist Reloaded, Gasland, Food Inc.

Lot's more I'm missing I know.

Possibly the best UFO doc out there as far as evidence is concerned.

Re: Interesting Documentaries?
last doc i saw was not very good. Last Days Here, The Fall and Rise of Bobby Liebling. Does a great job of renewing interest in a great old rock band, but pretty much all they do is kiss bobby's ass the entire time. its on netflix instant.

This video will educate you on where the idea of Santa came from. It's definitely worth watching as it gets into a lot more than that

Re: Interesting Documentaries?
Try searching on youtube for videos by a hip documentary-creating company called VICE.

Thats where I first learned about:
Krokodil, Russia's deadliest new drug
Scopolomine, aka The Devil's Breath
Slab City - living off the grid in California desert wasteland,
And tons more- like "Interview with an Pakistani Assassin"
And "Prostitutes of Dubai"

I just watched last night: "40 years of Solitude" about a Guachero who is 81 and lives alone on 600 hectacres of gorgeous, pristine land in Patagonia, Chile....and has lived alone for 5 decades!
Currently working on:
Bach: Invention No. 1
Joplin: Maple Leaf Rag
Mendelssohn: Tarantella Op.102 no.3
Mendelssohn: Venetian Boat Song Op. 19 no. 6 (both from 'Songs Without Words')
