i spend too much on food, take out and such. other than that, i invest a lot into my little side business of refurbishing thrift store crap! I find beat up old wooden tables, stools, shelves in the thrift shops for a couple of bucks. i paint them up nice and trendy and resell them for thirty or forty bucks. i occasionally build some simple items new as well. business has been good and keeping me busy. If anyone is sitting around the house, is artistic and wants to make a few extra hundred bucks a month cash, then i highly recommend it!!

I just wanted to bump this. When I had extra $$$ and time I would spend it on music somehow. Cd's etc. Music takes me "to another place"... oh, and electronics is a hobby too, computer stuff...

I buy up 'junk' and resell it. You'd be surprised what some people get rid of and even more surprised what some will buy. Sometimes an item needs a clean up and some tlc and I double or treble my money.

I sew and find it fun to design and make my own stuff. I also do it for my kid. Part of that is researching fashion, current trends, etc. I don't always spend money, but often time is involved with it. Probably vain as hell to be that into it, but there you go.

I use the time I spend with my kid playing to flip through magazines, sketch a design or whatever and she likes textiles and pictures (she's under 2). My son could care less one way or the other.

I also read books. Not having to do with fashion, for the record. I read for pleasure and the topic doesn't exactly matter, except I use enough of the fashion books when I sew I don't red those for fun. I'd rather read then watch TV, and it's rare I don't have a needle or book in hand of some kind.

So books and fashion. Nerd vanity at it's best.

Huge bookworm over here. If I have disposable income at the end of the month it goes to whatever topics spark my interest. Mostly history and historical theory.

I love books too, the older the better:)

Lets see....I make knives...stuff outta Kydex and leather....I weld and make metalcraft outta stuff I find....reload ammo....cat treats and toys.....fishing tackle,bait, and boat charters....ComicCons with wife....hiking stuff....puttering around my shop....Bowhunting and putting together arrows....

I don't have any right now but some do. Like I said it's more a question of "what's important" than how or where to get money lol.
