Yes, but mine comes from an allergy to metal and I use prescription cream to make it go away. Are you sure you are not sensitive to metal because I know someone else with the same itchy rash...allergic to metal.

Maybe it is a fungus. I think what i have is a fungus. It acts like Impetigo. Yes, it is actually a fungus, I think, and I do use a steroid type cream. But I don't use it that often so I never had that problem with my face being swollen. I just use it one week until the rash is gone.
