I've been to Barrie, Ontario twice. Very nice place. Reminds me of PA. Lots of cows and trees. And there is a giant statue by a lake called the spirit catcher it's pretty cool.

27 times in just 5 years for below surface research. That's when I was a very young man. My body couldn't take that shit anymore, but I do sure miss it!

Same. Denali, to be exact. Beautiful area. I wouldn't necessarily want to endure an entire winter there, but it was quite refreshing during the summer. The nearly-midnight sun was an experience I always wanted to have and one I'll never forget.

Inverness, Scotland; latitude 57 I believe

I went in January, and I was surprised to see how green everything was. The weather was only about 50-60 degrees, though other parts of Scotland were covered in snow.

Didn't that used to be the salmon capital of the world?

I used to spend my summers on Vancouver Island, and I went there once or twice.
