Would that be the same weapon that would certainly be a most effective & prevalent small arm in a resistance against a government gone totally rogue & hell-bent on crushing the government of the people, by the people, for the people mentioned in your Gettysberg Address?

What the government really needs to do is quadruple to budget for enforcing EXISTING GUN LAWS pertaining to keeping illegal guns off the streets.

Not infringe on the rights of millions of law abiding gun owners. Gun Ownership is about checks and balances between the people and the government. Not even self-defense really. It keeps the select few oppresive minded individuals in line.
