Did you know the man who LED the Columbine investigation pled guilty in 2011 to meth posession & prostitution???
I just read that online. I thought, how could that have not been reported by the msm!?

So, I searched...And I searched some more. I can not find a single report from CNN, Foxnews, MSNBC, NYT, any of them!

There is a dearth of information online, but I found multiple reports from a reputable daily newspaper which comes from the online site from the city where the broncos football team plays. Here is one source I shall cite:

[link to www.cbsnews.com]

Bascially, here is the deal:

The police sheriff, who was the #1 person in charge of investigating the Columbine massacre, plead guilty in 2011 to possession of methamphetamine, and soliciting a prostitute. (He admitted guilt to the accusation of offering methamphetamine to a homosexual prostitute who also happened to be a young adult.)

He served 17 days (!) in a jail, which was named after him (!)

The jail was subsequently renamed.

He also was ordered to serve two years probation.

He violated those terms in August by consuming alcohol among other violations of his terms of probation.

The major national news outlets did not feel this story was fit to print, or cover, even in passing!?!?

How does this make you feel about the current investigation being conducted in Newtown, Connecticut?

How does this make you feel about the "reporting" of the "news" by the "media"....??

Share this with people who are still asleep, unconscious, unaware, willingly ignorant to the state of affairs in the United States!!!

Before reading this post, had you ever heard about this!?

Consider: This is the man who was #1 in charge of investigating the Columbine school shooting.

Does this give you faith in the current investigation being conducted in Newtown, Connecticut?

Columbine happened in what, 1999?

He was arrested 12 years later, correct?

Where is the causation here? Are you saying because he committed crimes (drugs and prostitution, which are usually ways to escape pain or guilt or depression), he didn't investigate correctly a decade before?

I don't know if this guy "led" the investigation. Maybe he controlled the local police. I thought the FBI controlled the investigation. If I recall correctly, the lead agent from the FBI who issued their report was also the FBI agent in charge at Ruby Ridge. It was also his kid who was in the Trench Coat Mafia and was supposedly told by the two shooters to go home. Lots of shady stuff around that guy. It's been a lot of years, so I can't recall all the specifics. If someone knows what I'm talking about, please chime in.

It wouldn't surprise me if this sheriff is into all sorts of sordid stuff. They probably had dirt on him as leverage to do their bidding during the investigation.

I have no idea what the "causation" was. If you are asking what my "point" is....here are a couple of things that immediately spring to mind:
1. How long has this man been a drug addict and a patronizer of homosexual prostitutes?
2. While he was Sheriff, was he ever black-mailed with information/hidden video/photographs concerning his criminal activities?

Yes he was arrested twelve years after the shooting at Columbine. Also, please do not be an apologist for this man. And, yes, I am calling into question the professional judgement, ethical behavior, and moral integrity of this man .

So the fact 12 years later he's arrested, means you suspect everything he did 12 years before? I'm sorry, I can't make that logical leap. One series of events has no bearing on the other, they were separated by more than a decade.

Also, why single out the homosexuality of the issue? What does it matter what two consenting adults do, even if money is exchanged? I don't see how that effects ones ability to handle forensic evidence.

It does matter, when one of the consenting adults is a Sheriff, entrusted to investigate fairly and impartially.

You don't think there might be a chance that this man was compromised while he was working as a Sheriff?

The man served time in a jail that was NAMED FOR HIM.
