A Rant..... For America

I am so sick of this left/right paradigm we live in. It is by definition engineered to divide us. This has annoyed me so much, especially during this time we call the holidays that I feel compelled to RANT all over the internet about it. Just the discussions over CHRISTMAS (NOT HOLIDAY) dinner became so heated that it became OBVIOUS of what we have ALL become.

I will first say that we as a nation are FUCKED. I don't care if you are right, left, center, whatever. Just take a look around you. This country has decayed WELL beyond statisical mean. We are on the triple diamond, far beyond what our parents and the 3 generations before them could have ever have imagined. We have TV shows about chicks wanting to hook up with fake millionaires. What the fuck is that? This country is on a moral, social and economic decline unlike anything we have ever seen throughout our short 250+ year history, and its down right maddening.

I personally am not a practicing Christian, but I grew up one, and they are about 75% of the last standing pieces of moral fabric we have in this country. I don't believe in God, nor do I go to Church. However, MOST (not all) of these people have MORALS, something that is SADLY lacking in this country. And don't give me this gay marriage bullshit, I don't give a rats ass who anyone marries. If they love another person, so be it. That is not a question of MORALITY, that is only a question of choice, and I don't give a shit about that particular choice and I'm sure most others don't either. They may not like it, but they don't lose sleep over it. So TRY AGAIN!

Case study - GUNS - We, as an American People have coexisted with guns for hundreds of years. Our Revolution against the British depended on the availability of GUNS. Our Constitution was BUILT from guns, mostly as a show and EXECUTION of defiance of those who would try to rule against our freedoms and liberties (which INCLUDES the Civil War). Until just 30 years ago, you could order a FULLY AUTOMATIC weapon from SEARS!!! M1 Carbines, M1 Garands, AR-15s, you name it. We had rifle teams in HIGH SCHOOL. Kids could ride the bus with their .22s on their way to practice in the 1950s without as much as a glance. Why didn't you hear about school shootings then? Because we had our HEADS ON OUR FUCKING SHOULDERS, thats why! GUNS are not the problem, PEOPLE ARE. GET IT???

With regard to our finances, in the post war era people had a mind for charity. They had a mind to support the WAR EFFORT. They made SACRIFICES. More importantly, it was a SHARED SACRIFICE back then. When the country was down and out, the whole damn crew got together and did what's right - Regardless of their politics. Now, it's single out the successful dude, make him/her pay their fair share! I say BULLSHIT, if we go down, we go down as a DAMN GROUP and if you want to raise taxes, they go up on EVERYONE. There is no damn good reason that the successful people of this nation should hold the fort up unless EVERYONE is willing to sacrifice PROPORTIONALLY. That's the America I grew up in! Fuck this ENTITLEMENT bullshit, if we go down, we ALL go down bitches.
