One word,,, JEEP,,Preferrably an older CJ series. With the V8. No computers,, basic minimalist transportation. But reliable as hell,,easy to fix and chicks n dogs love em. I have been a Jeep owner for decades,, I do ALL my own work on them and would NOT ever even consider another vehicle.  Straight six works also; most are inherently perfectly balanced. I miss my '82 CJ7. She was awesome. Jeep is the best American car, by far.
