NO gas fields/"swamps" in state
NO sun power plants / mirrors in state (ONE wind-based, yes)
NO "ice" in that altitude (ray below clouds, here is +- 30oC steadily along this month, summer, I wonder clouds would have to be higher than of the filmed ones)
And, VERY clouDY - not just a little bunch of nimbus or sparse cirrus here and there to rays dance around

I live +-400Km, same state/born here, 43 years in it.

Since the sun is on the opposite horizon I would love to hear an explanation.

To me, this looks like some sort of refraction/reflection phenomenon. I mean, I'm no expert, but I don't think this is some gov't tech being calibrated or whatever other farfetched conspiracies are being thrown out there. Really not trying to shill it up, but I'd chalk this one up to natural phenomenon. Very interesting & beautiful nonetheless.

The first thing that came to my mind in the OP's video was the Scripture "and I saw in the midst of Heaven, three angels having the everlasting gospel to preach upon the earth, saying with a loud voice, Fear God and give glory to Him for the hour of God's judgement has come." Throughout the entire video there were three cloud formations within the light column that look like angels.

Here in Maine many years ago, I, a close friend who was a strong christian and my cousin who was totally an unbeliever were working on my car. I noticed the Northern Lights in the sky and became facinated with it when it formed what looked to me and my friend as Jesus with His robe covering Him from head to toe. To my cousin, it looked just like the devil and saw nothing of what we saw. Just goes to show what we all will see when Jesus is coming in the Clouds of Glory--for some it will be a great joy, for others an overpowering scourge. His own will be welcoming Him with upstretched arms, and others will be running to the rocks to hide from the glory. Nice video. To some it is just nature. For us, it is a representation of the glory to come.
