You probably don't even know all the passages that relate to the antichrist to be able to make a knowledgeable statement - so why bother??? And why would the AC be liked by everyone if only half the country hates Obama and even more people do around the world? And you think drones are the only reason people hate him? And you think we are one of the most hated countries? Trying to pick apart your very poorly formed ideas is very hard. |

But, as another poster pointed out, it was the ACT of planting their standards (banners) in the sacred earth of Jerusalem which contained pagan symbols and then bowed down to them which was the abomination which led to desolation. As the other poster so correctly pointed out, the pagan symbol on the banner was IDENTICAL to the picture of the American Eagle, looking to the right and holding arrows in its talon. It is also the banner for Edom or modern-day Palestinians, and also for Rome. All three are modern-day representatives of Paganism--even in the Protestant world which is "clasping hands across the gulf in an unholy union and beginning to oppress the world like never before. The only difference between then and now is that "Israel" is now represented by "Spiritual Israel" as opposed to Physical Israel. Physical Israel is beginning to look much like those who are surrounding it (Islam). Of course, there are many dual prophecies and it is yet to be determined how they all play out. But, the admonition is still there for us to understand and DO: "when you see these things, stand in the HOLY PLACE. That Holy Place is situated in the Heavenly Sanctuary "not made by hands" where Jesus is officiating as our High Priest and Mediator between God and man. Soon He will change His garments and come as King. Once He leaves that Holy Place and returns, there will no longer be a Mediator for man, but will be coming as King and Judge. The TRUTH is stranger than FICTION. |
