spaghetti speech, huh?
i don't understand a word you're saying.
Quoting: Neoanderthal Man Spaghetti code or any type of hard-to-understand code is sometimes referred to as write-only code. Other variations on the Pasta Theory of Programming include lasagna code, which is likened to structured programming, and ravioli code, which is favored and likened to object-oriented programming (OOP)." Quoting: Perseus7 Wow, I like it. BASIC was a language that really lent itself to spaghetti code. How did they over come that? With languages that put sections of code into functions, or objects. The key thing with all that - was the idea of "namespaces". Inside one of these functions, a variable - say "x", that we declared only had meaning within that function, and none outside it. So if somebody declared "x" in a different way somewhere else in the code, it didn't create havoc when we redefined it in our own way. Context was thus made local and well defined, there was no misinterpretation of what the programmer intended. I know what you're talking about with the mental disease. You are wise, wise enough to see the 900 pound gorilla in the room and see something as to its nature. Peace, take care of yourself, and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! -Me
