It's a set up. This always happens when TSRCs ("the super rich criminals") want a newscaster to go away, but they aren't willing to go away quietly. Usually, they discredit the victim first, and if that doesn't work then TSRCs have them arrested. But with a DUI, you get a two-fer. Next, instant retirement for ol' Sam...
