Soon your future wife will own everything you worked your backside off for! Quoting: John Donson 28607946 Be happy with what? my boring routine of working, coming home alone, eating, watching tv, and sleeping? I want to experience what the rest of the world is doing. Here in lies the rub... I have the same routine you have, but I look at it differently. Happiness does not seem to be finding someone or something, for me its about being thrilled with what I have and where I am. Who knows maybe you will still find life boring and routine if you have a wife, child, or whatever else you feel will help you. Just remember who ever you are with, or where ever you may go... there YOU are. I love being in rush hour, because I have a car. I love being at home, because I have a roof over my head. I love being at my work, because I have a job. this is not a lecture I promise, I am just remembering being where you are and I had to choose to become happy. Love to you Oh I forgot to add what happened after that... I meet tons of people who want to date me, but I no longer find the idea of that appealing. Because there can not possibly be anyone who could add to what I already have. Living in the moment and finding the silver-lining in every supposed misfortune is a most worthy goal and IMO is the basis for the very subjective state of being we call 'happiness'. That however, is where we part company. I find your last statement dire, depressing and, defeatist. "Because there can not possibly be anyone who could add to what I already have." For me, nearly every good experience is augmented when shared with another. Not just because recollection of good experiences is enjoyable, but also the actual experience is often magnified by sharing each other's perception and analysis of said experience. In a nutshell, everything is better when shared. Energy is cumulative. ;-`) We all breathe the same air. .-.. --- ...- . / .- .-.. .-.. |

I do live alone and spend days at a time alone if I am not at work. having a relationship beyond the ones I already have is not needed for now. I stay open to what ever the future brings but I have been alone along time and love it for the moment. |
