If a country eliminates all of it's guns, even from the police and military, another nation or the UN will just invade and take them over by gun-point, for that's how nations are governed, by the point of a gun. And he who has the biggest guns gets to rule the nation.

And what good is elimating all guns from the planet with nations able and willing to nuke each other, or bio-attack each other, or chem-attack each other, or scalar-attack each other, or, or or, etc, etc, etc...

Begin to see the futility of your trollish statement yet?

As long as evil exists in the world, tools of personal defence will be needed. And by today's technology, that means guns. But tomorrow it will mean lasers, etc.
