Quoting: Cybil My sister is about 10 years younger than me and I'm 37. Its ironic that she would be the one to get it because she quit putting pepper on her food in high school because it causes cancer. Never did drugs. Never smoked. She had breast cancer a couple years back and had them removed. . . Went to all follow ups and everything was fine. A couple months back she had some health concerns, went to the doc, and found out her cancer is back everywhere. Its in her lungs it in her bones among other places. She has 3 children ranging from 4 to 8 or 9. I would do anything to take her cancer away. I don;t understand why these things happen to the absolute best people in the world!! Everyone please say a prayer for Yvonne. I hear the power of prayer can cause miracles and we need a miracle. I've said a prayer for everyone on this list, including your sister. Also, tell her I healed myself of bone cancer with natural health and positive thoughts. (I also had the help of a chiropractor.) Anyway, have her check out this link and it will be helpful if she starts doing the things recommended here. [link to www.earthclinic.com] Do yourself a favor and watch this amazing video. | Fishy User ID: 23648161 12/26/2012 08:30 PM ![]() Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Hello, I'm a stay at home mom of three (they're very little children, so it makes way more sense for me to be here with them at this time...saves us way more money by having home cooked meals, only one vehicle, daycare expense, etc.) Just thought I would emphasize that before someone tells me to "get a job" haha, Also my husband is in the telecommunications business so our cable and internet are a courtesy job perk. Anyways, the reason for our need :) Quoting: Anonymous Coward 3473233 First, I would pay the $95 left for the month for our rent. We shorted the landlord, but pulled off a MAGICAL Christmas with a mix of new and used gifts for the children :) Second, my 6 year old washer decided to stop working Christmas Eve Eve...my wonderful husband has it all taken apart downstairs and thinks he narrowed it down to the water pump and belt, which will make the total parts $75. If this fails, I would use the rest of the money and find us a decent used washer (I would be so sad, as I really love this washer we bought new...I feel like we have a bond haha). If you have children, you know how VERY important this appliance is in the household. But having that streak of survival in me, we've been making do. Lastly, if there is any left over...I will spend it on groceries!! Can't have enough :) I appreciate being consider, what a beautiful thing to do :)) "Win" or lose, I promise with all my heart to pass this act of gratitude on one day when we find ourselves in a better financial situation. Thank you so very much, Bless you! I would like to help you. How do I contact you? |

She is 8 yrs old and has Leukemia. Her family has put donation boxes all over town because they cannot afford her treatments. Plus the mother hasn't been able to work, since she must be with her 24/7 I have donated a bit, and will match your amount, if you choose my story. I know it would be hard to know if I was really using the money for that purpose. I could take pictures or a video of me physically putting the money into her donation box. Just a thought man, it just breaks my heart to see a little girl my daughters age have to suffer like that. Thank you Brief, your generosity will do soo much for this family. I will match what you have donated...actually I was thinking that giving them a check for 666.66 might be a bit odd, so I will make it an even 700. Please know I think this is incredible, my daughter was pretty upset about it when she found out, and it really has been tugging at my heart. No child should have to go through this. Hopefully this eases the stress and pressure they are undoubtedly under. Thanks man, best investment I've made in a while...instantly doubled my money, plus some! You guys are getting to me. I've seen much, much worse: my oldest kidnapped by a pedophile (I'm still somewhat sane after that ordeal-didn't eat until I found word of him on the 40th day of searching for my first born...not the best way in the world to go down to 98lbs) being nearly killed by exhus- took 2 years to recover from injuries...still carry some of the pain and scars... nearly miscarrying my baby- living in a domestic violence shelter - getting a restraining order and custody only to be stalked and followed (the law was no help) death threats -living out of my car - I could go on and on. but God's grace and kind strangers got us through. I wouldn't have clothes for my 5 yr old then would feel led to look in a dumpster and there in a box, neatly folded were new clothes age 6. I have a hundred miracles just like this....amazing grace. walked by a child's zoo locomotive with my child, wishing I had the $`12 to get us in and go for a little train ride - then a $20 bill flew by our feet as we walked thru the parking lot. we both KNEW it was a miracle. things are better now. still pinching pennies, but my children are older and the dangers have diminished and I can breathe again after many years of living in hiding. So, from a single mom who's known nothing but struggle and knows what it is to live in hiding from an abuser...who can finally breathe again... thank you- thank you, Trin for giving to those in need...I can't give what you can...but I can give thanks to you and every one who gave. I thank God for this wild and crazy but honest slice of free thinking and free speech that is GLP |

I am not asking for much at all. My boys need some new shoes. Its been real tight on money, and I managed to give them one gift each for Christmas this year. That was the best I could do.
