I'll try again. I did post on Triniy's thread, but was not nominated. That is okay because there are a lot of people needing help right now. I do not post much, I enjoy reading the articles and comments more. I am a private person.

I am a single mother of one beautiful little girl. I was not blessed with her until I was 40. I have been struggling since 08. The company I worked for sold their communities. We were like a big family, I worked for them for over eleven years. The property I managed, did not sale. They had fifeteen properties and sold twelve, leaving three. The only reason why I lost my job was because my supervisor and her family needed a job. This was a very sad time for me and I had lost hope in all people. Since then, I have been struggling to find the right job for me. A job that will pay enough to cover living expenses and one that would not require me to give up my daughter. I have had various jobs not working out for me. It is not because I am lazy, I enjoy working and am dependable. I am a very hard working, honest individual. I recently received a job offer, but would require me to put my daughter in a 24 hour day care and those places scare me to death. The only time I would be able to spend time with my daughter would be the few hours in the morning prior to her going to school. During the years of struggling, I have lost my home and car. I have another car know, but it needs some work. The money being offered would help to keep us a float a little longer while I search for a more kid friendly job. I do not receive a lot of help from her father, nor do I receive unemployement. Times are really hard right now. I have had help from friends and relatives, but most of my friends and relatives are just making ends meat. I need to be out of the place we are living by the 31st and really do not know where we are going. I do not do drugs, I love God with all my heart and soul, I try my best to love my neighbors as I love myself.

I would like to give you all a brief run down of my situation. I am 21 years old, my fiancé is 29. We are expecting our first baby any day now, which we are both really excited! Currently I do not work, and he recieves ssi benefits due to an accident while overseas as contractor. Although he is confined to a wheelchair, I know he wishes things could go back to the way they were. He still holds out hope he will,be able to return to service as a pilot.

We just bought our first home on a rent to own plan with a well known neighbor. I would like very much so to take the money in this contest and donate it to our local health department, as they were so generous to us being it is our first pregnancy.

we used to see this when we attempted to raise money for our charitable foundation.

people could give a damn about who they helped but if you told them "the Jones's gave money, their ego would make them give too out of competiton.

we used this technique when dealing with wealthy arrogant pricks and thry fell for it everytime.

yesterday I was ok but today my work trucks radiator has developed a bad leak and I have no extra money to get it fixed. The jb weld failed me.

I hate writing this, and I wasn't going to do this, but something tells me I need to. I hate asking anyone for any kind of help, but here goes anyway.

This year has been incredibly rough on us. First off I am going to school full-time and working as much as I can while going to school. My husband also works, but his overtime that we usually depend on has been dried up these last few months. We live paycheck to paycheck and are always about two steps behind. We hang onto every cent that we can to keep the bills paid.
In late November, someone I trusted with everything I have, forged a bunch of checks from our checking account. He ruined any chance for us to have Christmas. This person was a very close relative. He stole the checks when we let him live with us so he could get back on his feet. While he was here, he stole checks from us. We found out over the past 3 months he had taken over $1,000 from us. Our checking account went minus $650 in November and the fees to cover that were enormous. Literally we were sunk. I was so heart-broken and I still had to finish school and work around all of this without missing a beat. I made it but it was difficult. In the meantime we had to call the police over the forgeries, or the bank was going to press charges against us for fraud.

It was and still is a very difficult time. As a result, I wasn't able to get Christmas for anyone. My youngest son, wanted a new cell-phone because his is broken. Eventually I will get it for him, but not for a while. He is such a wonderful kid and is always helping me out. I wanted to get him some clothes and a new winter coat. My oldest son...well, he is the one who stole the money from us. My husband out of the goodness of his heart, called the police to tell them to not pursue the charges. I didn't know he did this, but that was my oldest son's Christmas gift. I had a dinner yesterday for everyone and it was very nice. I was grateful to be able to get the food for the dinner. We will be eating leftovers the rest of the week....yum!

Anyway, I know this is long and I have aired our "laundry" out here for everyone to see. But that is our life. But if I were chosen, I know that I would pay this forward to someone else in need next year for Christmas. I graduate this summer and we should be in a much better position/place this time next year.
