Do any of you remember a movie that starred Joaquin Phoenix called, "The Village"?

Well I am a single white female, who for the past 5 years, has fought an ever growing urge for a more simple way of life. I find that I do not fit in with this modern society and it's material driven ways. I do not believe all the new technology has made our lives better, easier... yes, better... no. We have become lazy, lacking in courage, and unwilling to take care of ourselves. Women have lost their nurturing ways, men have become weak, our souls corrupt, and our humanity lost. I believe women's lib is bullshit and was promoted to add more worker bees to make the wealthy wealthier. The American family has been destroyed. Our men have been emasculated. Our women are selfish,and do not want to care for their own children. Father's are something we see on tvland reruns, they are an endangered species.

I want to create a dating site with like minded people who are willing to disengage with this society and create a new one. Where women are women and men are men. We will work the land to provide for ourselves, utilize what God and mother earth has so generously given. Raise our kids with morals and character. Take our lives back to the basics.

I have been unable to find a partner with like ideals, as soon as a guy sees that I am above average in appearance and hears my beliefs. They automatically think I mean that I want a man who will work and take care of me. They couldn't be more wrong. I do not want money, I want to be part of a family where hard work is valued, morals are most important, traditional gender roles are followed, and we take care of the land and our community.

So guys, let me have it, am I crazy? Would it work? Should it work? Is there anyone out there at all that feels the same? Will I ever find my soulmate?
