[...] “As a consequence of the earthquake and tsunami, the reactors were damaged and power to the cooling mechanism of the FNPP was interrupted, resulting in a meltdown of the fuel and reactor itself, thereby triggering the release of high levels of radiation.” [...] The plaintiffs claim the government deliberately misled them: “the Japanese government kept representing that there was no danger of radiation contamination to the U.S.S. Reagan … and/or its crew, that ‘everything is under control,’ ‘all is OK, you can trust us,’ and there is ‘no immediate danger’ or threat to human life, all the while lying through their teeth about the reactor meltdowns at FNPP. The military also has not released levels of radiation detected on servicemembers’ clothing and equipment. [link to www.stripes.com] - so what don't they want us to know? hey waterbug. this is particularly amusing basically stating, we the us military have never tested nukes before we dont know what they do. anybody the believes this shit including the serviceman themselves are .... dont even have the words for the talking head shit anymore... they are in for a world of hurt, the ignorance is stupefying. this is getting frustrating. time for a new painting. nice find. But on the other side i need to laugh, very loudly because of the Crime they (the Army) do! The US-Army done great things after the Tsunami, Operation Tomodachi and the more or less secret Work in F'Shima saved a lot of Lifes! I really like it but i doubt that it will be successful. |

Dawn? Just plain seawater. NBC wash down, simply rinses away particulates that MAY have radioactive particles attached to them. Radiation itself does not travel well without attaching to something. |

"Radiation" is light, pure and simple. It does not attach to anything more than the beam of light from a flashlight does. Radioactive particles however do emit radiation, and might be washed away. |
