Time is slowing down

And the days become like weeks.

Don't worry. The slowing-down is being counter-balanced by all those in conspiracy sites who swear time is 'speeding up'

Time is relevent to us in day and night but what if we are far from a central sun we have now, how then will you tell the time ?

For a week I've felt it,thought I was the only one.

Yeah same here o.o for the longest time i felt time speeding up. And for about a week it seems slowed down in the moment... it's actually so slow sometimes i perceive one day to have been many

time was speeding up, for the past 18 months at least. But, today, has seemed like an eternity. And I noticed it this weekend too. What I'd done in the morning seemed like days earlier by evening.

Yes, have noticed this too. Before X mas, I never had enough hours to do what I should. Now it's the other way around.

The measurement of time remains constant... clocks I mean.

Without a clock how can you be sure of the rate of time passing?

Is the sun visibly crossing the sky faster or slower for example?

But if time was speeding up or slowing down... then the synapses in your brain would also be firing at a faster or slower rate... the photons from the sun would be taking less or more time to reach your eyes etc... so you would not be able to perceive the difference in any meaningful way.

It's funny y'know, I think if we avoid the devices that measure time for us, we can really control it on a subjective level.

There's a story about this French philosopher dude during the revolution, he was due to be executed and when they took him on the long walk to the guillotine, he endeavored to experience every second of the journey to it's maximum, to expand his awareness of every single moment as much as he could.

In doing so he mentally lived for another entire lifetime on that walk and in doing so cheated death somewhat, having lived twice and dying only once.

It's just a story (and I may not have told it well) but it stuck with me and I often try the same thing when I am trying to avoid some unpleasant appointment.

I think we can literally control time, at least for ourselves if we really want/need to.

Time is not constant, time is not linear, time is dimension, time is energy. Time is - and is not, depending on conciousness. We move throught time.

Old theories held that the effect was gradual, with the length of an Earth day increasing just .002 seconds per century.

But now new sophisticated measurements show that changes in the Earth’s rotation have become more dramatic than ever before.

“By summer of 2011, a day will lengthen to 38.6 hours,” revealed Prof. Jankowski.

And according to his chilling calculations, the Earth’s rotation will wind down to a dead stop by January 16 of the year 2013.

It has been like that for me as well, for over a year now.

Hmm. I am usually firmly in the "time is speeding up" camp, however, I have to admit, the last week or so has not had the same swift feel to it despite it being hectic. It is, however, the holidays and not the usual routine at all with work, school, visitors, etc. so really won't be able to tell until things are back to normal in January. But definitely maybe.

when I caught the time change happening on my cell phone and pc and electric clock. I'm glad other people are experiencing this too.

I believe time and space are speeding up but the manipulation of the earth calendar and atomic time clock is being played with try to slow it down.

It will speed up slightly for a short while where upon it will slow down even more.
Right now the wave is starting a new descendent.
Remember that 'they' will not perceive this and for 'some' it will seem in reverse.

Yes, it has happened. I am continuously thinking it is later than it actually is. All since Friday. Makes sense though. I believe we have passed through the eye of the torus and our collective consciousness is now in expansion mode. Perhaps this article will help to explain. From Jay Weidner's site and article The Topology of Time. I've skipped to page 2 to cut to the chase, but the entire article is very informative and explains the space/time continuum better than I have found elsewhere. Be sure to see figure G. This shows how we have just passed into the golden Age and are expanding our awareness.

Weird fluctuations

I've been feeling the slow down in the last couple of days as well. So weird compared to a couple of weeks ago where the hours just flew by...I wonder what is causing this sensation?

Time neither can "slow down" or "speed up", unless you yourself somehow, impossibly, find yourself "outside of time".

Because if time sped up, your brain would also be going at this sped up speed so from your perspective nothing will have changed!

For all we know Time could be fluctuating all the time, but since we're riding it and a part of that time, nothing seems to change.

What might change is your perception of how fast that constant time is going, from being really bored or from having done so much stuff that time just flies by, you know?

I feel like in another die-mention or something ...
