i think almost everyone is desperate for some financial help these days, as am i. truth is the cost of living has dramatically risen, and sadly, my income has not. i have had to tighten the belt so much that every "extra" i'm used to having had to be done away with. no cell phone, no new clothes/shoes, no dining out, no manicures, no taking my kids to movies, etc. when my husband died, i had to immediately move into a smaller place, and implement a dramatic re-budgeting of our household expenses.
isn't easy. but, i am getting the hang of it. the hard part is not having enough money to go out and do things. so, i sit home and make the best of it. i have to carry internet for school and that basically is my only luxury. and i smoked cigarettes (about three a day) and i even cut that out of the scenario. that and soda pop.
damn you, obama...
anyway...
the point is that it is possible to live on half of what you used to have. and it's possible to adapt to having a minimal meager existence for the time being. it's taken me a couple years to adapt, but i think i am getting the hang of it. i think the boredom is the hardest thing since gas money is so costly and i have to keep my monthly gasoline expense at 40 bucks.
i am not posting this because i am asking for money, as bad as i need it and as tasty as this offer is. i am posting because EVERYONE has had to tighten the belt, and it can be done. and, actually, it's good for us to learn to not waste, buy only what we use and be very frugal, watch our spending as close as possible.
OP, very kind of you to help along with Trin and Brief.
you guys are alright in my book.
may God richly reward your kindness.
