But I do feel sorry that there aren't better bi-polar drugs - you'd think there would be something that doesn't make you feel completely flat.

It isn't your fault things are so difficult. It's a crappy illness.

Hoping for something to turn around for you.

I have had a good Christmas with family and good cheer. I wish I could share it with you.

Aren't there any BPD support groups. I know it's a tough thing to deal with. Can't you reach out?

Hey Op, don't ever lose hope that life will get better for you. I don't know what meds you may or may not be taking, but have you ever heard of a product called TrueHope? There was a thread on GLP about it a while back. Apparently for some people it works wonders.I wish you the best. Your bipolar illness runs in my family too, so I have some idea how you are feeling.

OP, hang in there and stay positive. I'm going through a pretty hard time as well, so at least be thankful you aren't alone. Just don't give up, and things will eventually get better, trust me on that.

As long as it does not involve harming other people/animals, find something that makes you happy. Not someone, not an item, but an activity that you can immerse yourself in.

I do hope that things work out. For me this year has been a series of ups and downs. Just when I thought things couldn't get worse, I met an amazing person that lives very far away, but who makes time almost everyday to chat with me. When you stop looking for a friend, one generally finds you.

Please don't ever wish to be some one else because you are who you are for what ever reason you were made this way. we do not always see the purpose of our lives when we are going through the dark side but there is a reason for the pain and some of us has to go through more pain then others...I do not know why. For some it is to heal for others to teach and others to lead, until your time comes it will just seem that your meant to sit in this torturous realm. But I promise it will get better and your not alone in this....my heart goes out to you not out of pity but out of knowledge I understand your pain.

OP - do you have any pets?

if not, get one. go to an animal shelter.

Hi, yes, you may have brought your life to this point, but you didn't ask to be bipolar. I know what you are going through. My sister was bipolar, and it was a rough road for her. My son hasn't been diagnosed with bipolar, but he has a very hard time dealing with life in general. He is 27, and also doesn't mix too well with people. Hasn't had a girlfriend, feels alone in his own head. I don't know what I can do for him, but love him. YOU are not alone. I don't know if you have ever been to a naturopath, but sometimes they can help greatly, without the drugs. I will think positive thoughts for you. Peace! :)

you could be my beautiful child. I just want to tell you not to give up hope and there are always better days. Sometimes we can't see past our hurts and however screwed up our experiences have been. You think I don't underdtand but I do. I too felt less than, apart from everyone else. I'd see people laughing when I couldn't even smile because I hurt so much inside. I knew if you knew the real me, you wouldn't like me so I was a "pretender". There was no where for me to go but up when I hit my bottom.I was depressed, hated life and people. I found God. Was it easy? No. Was it worth it? Yes. I used to pray to just be able to smile again........and God gave me peace.Not all at once but little by little I learned to reach out. What I gave out, I started getting back.
I see what you are going through and I wish I could take it away but I would only delay your chance to grow. Having an illness doesn't make things any easier but I pray that somehow you reach inside yourself and know that you are loved.
You are not alone....I bet many of the people you think are happy on the outside fele like dying on the inside. I urge you to please, please consider that God loves you and I love you so much and you have a part in this world. You have something to share in this life but please try to take a step.

I couldn't get back on here after posting earlier.

Im mesmerised at all the nice comments that all you posters have posted - didn't expect any positive response and im humbled at your kindness.

I did seriously consider checking out earlier - went to bed wrote a letter to nobody and cried myself to sleep unintentionally.

I don't want any one to know who I am and I feel so ashamed that I even posted

sometimes everything is so overpowering I can't breathe without forcing it.

I don't get any medication as I cant tell anyone face to face whats really happening as Im not sure myself.

just want you to know that when the new year is here I will go and try to get any kind of help

I just scare myself to far sometimes and afterwards it seems silly but its really frightening while it happens.

not even sure which person is the real me anymore.

anyway you guys here are really the only people that I talk too and I am gretfully ashamed that I unloaded on you the way I did.

Im going to make sure that by next christmas my life will be even just 1% better than its been for as long as I can remember.

not sure why people in another country would care but its obvious that they do
they don't know me but they have all made me feel normal for a while I even have had a bout of smiling from the nice comments and I think my last smile must have been months if not years ago.

its rare when a stranger is concerned about your well being when surely their own lives could be alot nicer to just simply ignor you.

Sloane is right OP, people do care about you. The hardest thing in life sometimes is acceptance. Accepting our own presence in this world and being OK with it.

I myself never wanted to be here. Until I accepted myself as I Am I could not move forward to who I was intended to be.

Once we get through the acceptance we come to that place of peace where there is no thing to be afraid of... there is only experience. Give your self a hug and write the next letter to Your Divine Self, your very own I AM Presence.
