Mycorrhizals will also help as they good with helping sugar production. Natural occuring sugars develop around the same time as the terpenes (hence the "sweet" and "smell" association) damn I miss growing.. Out of curiosity, what made you want to enhance the odors? Usually it's the other way around, but I guess if you didn't have to worry about neighbors/roommates/family I guess it wouldn't really matter. I don't know about you but, outside of sweet strains that smell of lemon or other fruit, I personally find some smells to be too overwhelming. Perhaps there is a way to manipulate it though, as you have peaked my interest. Smell and flavor go hand in hand. They make carbon filters to eliminate smells so that is not an issue. If you grow in the correct medium, dry and cure it properly, you can have a product that is pure flavor and has NO smoke taste at all. yep, this guy nailed it to a tee. It's all about the flavor. When you taste something try plugging your nose and you'll see it loses flavor. Sugars & Terpenes go hand in hand, even in the grow cycle, that's the key.
