I envision one of those royal guards with the big black hats guarding the White House. Pray for Us Sinners Now and at the Hour of our Death |

People are people after all, and if having a gun means you are desiring to cause others harm, then obviously the military and police are the two largest groups of individuals who wish to cause others harm based simply on the number of firearms they posses and brandish on a regular basis. Shouldn't everyone be treated the same? |

If gun free zones are sure to keep children safe from gun violence, then why wouldn't people want to keep the leaders safe in the same fashion? If one cares about their beloved leaders then surely it makes sense to keep them as safe as the children. People who think it's alright for politicians to have armed guards obviously don't care about their safety. How could people not care about their leaders as least as much as their children? While we're at it, shouldn't the military and the police be disarmed as well? If an unarmed principal won't work, there is no way a armed guard would do any good. (Their viewpoint, not mine.) Therefore, we should drop all Secret Service protection from Zero and his family. Then swap them with Principals from local school districts. |
