since semi auto regulation twelve years ago, there has NOT BEEN ONE multi fatality shooting incident .
not one case of someone being unable to defend themselves because of restricted access to semi automatics and every person who requires a firearm for a legal purpose can obtain that firearm.
that's how it worked out, successfully.
lamerican guntards, lying about australian gun laws will only draw attention to the facts,
and those facts will definately not support your cause, they may even sink it.

There isn't a lot to weep about when it comes to gun control in Australia...the guns were not stolen and owners were compensated - as you can see in the video some felt hard done by but they were given compensation. People can still own guns legally in Oz, getting a gun license is not that hard.  On the whole, Australia is a far different place than the States. Again, I refer you (yet another Australian) to your History texts. You might want to read about how we as a nation were founded. Different mindset entirely. We weren't deported criminals. We were the people who left Europe on purpose, and said "fuck you" - with a rifle - when it came down to brass tacks. A lot of us here are descendants of those people, and the so-called "gun culture" is ingrained in us. It's who we are. If you can't accept that, then please, kindly shut the fuck up and mind your own business. Thanks. You might want to educate yourself on your convict past, Yank. 100,000 convicts were sent to America on the early days. White slavery was rampant. Australia received less convicts than America did. Added to that, the United States leads the world in it's Prison Population. You might say that America is is convict nation. You don't seem to know your own nation's history. Sad.
