Re: I was ready
You need to vent those batteries man! Very dangerous fumes build up when charging. There is a set up that will water and vent batteries simultaneously.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1572267

You mean the room vent isnt enough? That vent is trong enough to vent the 20x14 room the genny rom is only 4x8 and has two vents intake and exhaust.

Re: I was ready
The room vent should be good, just make sure is on when charging, the hydrogen gas can seep in places and be very dangerous. I have done some similar monkeying around with battery system. Just do a little research on it.

They have to be on when charging cause the vents keep out the smoke from the generators you can barely smell exhaust when both are running but I need to run one to charge the batteries.

You can put this [link to www.ecoloblue.com] in your bunker and make it like a kind of space ship by recycling the humidity will build up when you have any amount of people down there for extended time.

That way you make drinking water out of the humidity. Uses some power though.

Maybe if you filtered it properly, this device has several filters and a UV sterilizer.

Re: I was ready
It was a fun project.... except the digging! took us 13 days to dig it 4 guys...20ftlong by 14ft wide and 15 ft deep!

You didn't rent a backhoe?
 Quoting: wisc_natureboy

It was under my house... shovels only... We had to tunnel under the foundation I only had a 2ft crawl space

 Quoting: The Antichrist 666

Hey one of my first jobs as a kid(besides paperboy) was to dig a basement under an existing house...wheelbarrow at a time...man that sucked.

It was for my friends step-dad, he was a dick...I remember we were finishing up, he told us to hold up tailgate of this big dump truck while he reached in, doing something stupid...any way, my friend let go, I was short then, couldn't quite do it myself...

I remember looking over as tailgate dropped, pinching his arm in between as it swung down...right into the big pin, kinda gross, but funny at the same time...thought he was going to kick our ass, but fortunately he was in too much pain...yeah I went home shortly after, he went to emergency...
