As an American I'm a bit embarassed by his behavior in China. On the other hand it's good for the rest of the world to see what these "thugs" have degenerated into. I hope that more of them venture out into parts of the world that do not suffer from the USA atypical guilt and remorse about something that supposedly happened 240 years ago. Personally I think we owe them nothing and when they act out like this bastard did - he should be deported back to Africa and see how long he lasts there among his own people. I would think that most Africans would think little or nothing of killing someone acting like this. Might be interesting to watch and see what their reactions are. I cannot blame China for wanting to make sure these assholes are not allowed into their country again for any reason. Executing them at the boarder when they try to enter would surely be one way to slow down tourism, wouldn't it??

A neutral and well thought out comment. Can't agree with you more. Acts of violence occur anywhere and everywhere, race should be the last category to consider. Kick the stereotypes, everyone makes their own choices it has nothing to do with race. In this case its an act of violence. Acts of violence should not be tolerated at all. Also consider the fact that there is more to the video then may meet the eye. Yes, we all see an act of violence which in essence causes many of us to become enraged and upset. But what actually happened during the incident ? Anything could've happened we really honestly don't know. Could be fake, could be real maybe they were being racist towards him who knows. Hypothetically speaking lets just say indeed he was acting out without a cause. If I was there at some point as he kept on I would literally drop his ass and give him the beating of his life. Crazy shit though is the way the psychology behind it all works.

There are obviously two sides to every story. In China, they are known to be very racist, especially against black people(they strive for themselves to have white skin). Perhaps he was antagonized into snapping, as I myself have been quite angered by the ignorance of racism. I would have been able to hold myself back from attacking older people though..

Even so, the amount of racism in this thread/ on these forums amazes me. It amazes me that a lot of you here on GLP have allowed yourselves to be brainwashed by the media/hollywood, creating a false schema for all black people. I myself have seen every race act "ghetto." Whether they were white, black, asian, middle eastern, hispanic, pretty much everything. I have seen people of all races act in all sorts of ways..
