Dreaming: Flying, Teleportation, Time-Travel, Dimensional Travel, Alternate Timelines
I've been reading some other poster's dreams lately, and have been very interested in some of their experiences. They've inspired me to be open (a bit), and I'm starting this thread, to hopefully share some dream experiences, and get some feedback...see if they are things others have experienced, too.

Last night I dreamed I split into an identical twin of myself. I was looking at "me" as we were walking and holding hands like sisters. I don't have a sister in real life. We walked through a department store, I started to float, and then holding her hand, encouraged her to do the same. She did, though she was lower than me, at first. We were hovering through the store. I passed a tall man (over 6 feet) with dark hair, he was with his girlfriend or wife picking out ties. I got the sense they didn't see us, but the man turned his head as we floated past.

My twin and I walked toward a beach. We passed a middle aged Hasidic Jewish man who said something to me and scowled. I said something back to him in Hebrew, and he calmed down. I don't speak Hebrew in real life, though I know a few words and some letters.

My twin and I walked toward a boardwalk, and under the boardwalk were about five different people. One younger woman was sitting in the sand, they were just waiting for the beach to clear, because some sort of activity was going on. So, we sat and talked with her. She craned her neck at some point looking out from under the boardwalk toward the shoreline and said to me, "You've got to see this." I said, "No, it's ok, I don't need to, we'll wait." I remember she was probably around 21 years of age, and had shoulder-length blond hair that was wavy. I don't remember her name.

Then, at another part of the dream, I was helping a woman that was trying to climb a ladder of some kind. People that I could not see were talking behind me and making bets that she would fall. I somehow helped her, though I don't remember what I said. She was middle-aged and had brown hair, again, it was wavy, and she wore glasses. She was on the stocky side.

Later on in my dream, I dreamed that I was floating/flying. I got to about 1,000 feet in the air. At first I was not going very fast, but within a few minutes I was directing my speed to go faster, and I sped toward New York City, and went to Queens, for some reason. I landed and walked around the neighborhood for a bit (it was light outside), and then flew up again so I could get my bearings and try to figure out what street I was on. I read the street signs and saw the Grand Central Parkway, it was busy outside, and there were a lot of people, and traffic from cars. I found where I was, and flew to Manhattan. Then, at that point, I wanted to get back to where I'm living, so I concentrated on trying to change my location without flying. I stood still and imagined myself flying, but instead of allowing myself to fly, I anchored myself and stood still, and watched all of Times Square race around me and speed up, I closed my eyes because I was afraid of what I would see...but when I opened them, I just saw the environment around me changing and slowing down, until I was in my home environment.

That was the first time I had ever tried to "teleport" in a dream, it was very interesting. Has anybody ever experienced this while in a dream state? Thanks hf

i havent had many dreams i can remember in 12 years. It sucks... cos I miss remembering them. But way back when I used to remember them i had very very lucid dreams... and i would control them and do all kinds of awesome things! Even teleport... was pretty successful at it!

then all of a sudden it stopped... and if i remember a dream now its pretty messed up and totally spooks me... cos they are typically scary lol

Re: Dreaming: Flying, Teleportation, Time-Travel, Dimensional Travel, Alternate Timelines
I think that there are all different types of dreams that we can have, for sure. I know a lot of us can experience lucid dreaming, sometimes it comes in waves, in my experience. I haven't had any for a week or so, now. But when I have them, boy, do I have them! So, I understand. hf

I've found that for those who would like to remember their dreams more, or perhaps explore lucid dreaming, two things that can help trigger the situation for me have been: keeping a dream journal, and eating something not too long before sleeping.

The dream journal takes a few days to work, but basically, writing down any fragments of dreams one would remember immediately upon waking sometimes seems to train the brain to have better recall. And, for me, I've found eating something not too long before sleep gets my body so concentrated on digestion, my mind has free reign, for a while. hf

Hope you have good dreams and restful sleep! It can make such a huge difference on how we feel the next day. sun

Re: Dreaming: Flying, Teleportation, Time-Travel, Dimensional Travel, Alternate Timelines
I have a lucid dream about every two months, the last four have been interesting to say the least, i have used telekinesis, the elements of fire, wind, and earth, water is the only one I have not used in a dream yet. A couple of nights ago I had a dream about Little Rock, AR having ocean front property. I have flown in dreams as well, I have flown in and around tornadoes and escaped them by sheer force of will power. Lucid dreaming can be fun especially when you learn to control it, I still have controlling most of them but there are certain events in my dream that tests my will power, like slow motion fighting, have you ever had that happen? I have finally gotten past the slow motion punch that connects with no force at all lol.

Hello, fellow dreamer! sun

The telekinesis factor is interesting, and I think an important activity to learn when exploring lucid dreams. Being able to move things out of the way, unlock locks, bring objects closer, etc. Very cool you've managed to do it!

Lucid dreams can be so rewarding for working through obstacles, "telekinesis" if learned in a lucid dream, can be very rewarding for the dreamer. I've had the experience too, where some sort of advanced personal lucid-dreaming ability is presented to me, with the chance to learn and overcome. I haven't had the slow-motion fighting, but I certainly understand the concept! :-D Have you walked through walls in your dream state? I think for me, the teleportation ability was a personal barrier. Let us know of your progress, and when you breach that barrier of personal self-development, I'm sure it will happen soon. Kudos to you! cheers cheer

I had a vision in the year 2001. Today I can levitate only very light things. A small paper for instance. However, not every day.

To my surprise, I can manage to levitate a rubber. Immediately I run to friends to show them my „trick”. The rubber rises on one side. I doubt about it - the rubber falls back on the table. I brace myself, say “na komm” (in Viennese colloquial language it means, “Come on”, and hold my hand above the rubber. The rubber rises again on one edge and, in the end, follows my hand in a distance of approx. 10 centimeters. My hand is approx. 1 meter above the tabletop. (Vision; 01 02 04)

Re: Dreaming: Flying, Teleportation, Time-Travel, Dimensional Travel, Alternate Timelines
I posted the following last night to a MKULTRA thread. No feed back yet so I thought I would repost it here. I apologize in advance as to the length of the post as well as the subject matter, but considering that most of you know far more about this stuff than I do, I thought I would try posting it here. Thanks!

I have scanned this thread and have not seen anything remotely close to what I have experienced. I have also read a book and some research papers on electromsgnetic manipulation of consciousness and, either my situation has nothing to do with MKULTRA, or the experts writing the research stuff understand a little about the technology, but are otherwise full of shit.

In short, I have no indicators of being toyed with when I am conscious (awake), but periodically I fall into three different levels of consciousness (sub-consciousness?) withen just a few minutes of falling to sleep. Let me tell you, it is mother fucking horrific.

The first level of consciousness is one of full awareness that I am sleeping and one of these "nightmares" is begining. The really fucked up part at this level is that while my mind is aware, my body is completley paralized with an immobilizing pressure that seems to effect every cell in my body, not just my skin. So, I struggle desperately to try and move around or make noises to wake myself up, but nothing doing.

The second level of consciousness is a second "me" that is frantically trying to wake "us" up. Most often, while the body for conscious level #1 is completely paralyzed, the body for conscious level #2 is slapping the shit out of myself and yelling at myself to wake up. Conscious level #2 is scared beccause he knows what happens at conscious level #3 and waking myself up is the only way to keep someone from getting hurt. Most recently, conscious level #2 has actually been a complete seperate body that is sitting on top of me (rather than the two bodies being one in the same), slapping, punching and yelling to wake level #1 up. When I do wake up, it becomes obvious that there was never any actual movement in my body whatsoever, so I can't really tell what all the shit with the second level of consciousness is about.

As far as the paralyzed feeling, it is not just the inabilty to move, it is as if every individual molecule or cell was being physically forced to be still. Makes me wonder if some sort of three dimisional imaging is happening and the process requires zero movement just like an MRI. Whatever it is, it is awfull.

Conscious level three is where the shit gets real. This crap started when I was five and I am now 51. In short, the paralyzed body for level #1 facilitates a sensational g-force feeling for the concious level #3 body. I don't have any sort of a visual recognition that the level #3 body is traveling somewhere (like going through a tunnel or space), but I get a mental and physically experience of unbelievable g-forces that continues to accelerate until I get to wherever it is that I am being sent (or I am sending myself??).

The places that I go to are always different, but the senario is always the same. There will be a person there (so far, it has always been men my age) that consumes me with fear for mylife. While I never have any idea why or what I am afraid of, I become a raging lunatic with fear and my brain automatically kicks into a "kill or be killed" mode. Again, there are no feelings or reasons to justify the fear, it is just a switch in my head that when triggered, satan is in the house. It is always the same, the person somehow knows who I am as if he is expecting me, but he trys to run. So, the reality of my dream (so to speak) is that he is the one afraid of me and my fear is somehow a programed or conditioned event. Just part of the script I guess.

Anyway, I will proceed to beat the poor basturd to death by banging his head against something (like the corner of a table of granite counter top) until his skull is nothing but a fucking bag of jello in my hand. Even though I sort of know when he is dead, I continue bashing his head for what seems to be about 100 times to many. More often than not, I also tear into his neck with my teath trying to severe his jugular. When the rage stops, he is nearly decapitated and his skull is pudding. It is a horrific and fucked up deal that I am put through (or maybe I put myself through), but it is what it is. The thought of having such intense emotions (fear for my life) without there being any thought process to what is driving my actions is concerning to me. I will then wake up gasping for air as though I just ran a marathon, taking notice that my real world body had not moved a muscle during the event.

In the past several months, I have had about six of these violent dreams, but I have also had four new experiences. Two of them involved a normal sleep pattern (no crazy shit), but involved someone coming to me to kill me. The first time it was just some hot brunnet in a red dress, absolutely out of her fucking mind with rage trying to kill me. She wrapped a thin rope around my neck and was strangeling me. The fucked up part is that while I have no idea if this shit is self inflicted or not, I could not breath while being a part of her dream. Without waking up, I have no doubt that I would have suffacated myself.

After fighting with the bitch for a while, I got the rope from around my neck and woke up, gasping for air because I had infact stop breathing. After a few breaths, I feel back to sleep instantly as if I was being sucked back into the dream. Sure as shit, she was still there. She was screaming at me like she was fucking possessed while shetried to choke me again, this time with her hands around my throat. This was less of a struggle than her rope trick because I just over-powered her and took her hands off my throat. She was madder than hell, bithing and screaming while she vanished. I woke up gasping for air again, but not as bad.

The second similar situation happened about two weeks ago. Same scenario except this time it was a different woman and she had four or five men with her. It was as if she was looking for me because when our dreams merged (if that is what you call it) she said "there's that son of a bith". The men jumped on me holding me down while she stood on top of me choking me with the heel of her boot buried in my throat. Real or not, I could not breath until I got her boot off my neck and woke up for a few seconds. I honestly thought I was a done deal this time. Same shit as before, it was as if I was sucked backed into the dream and they were all there waiting to dog pile my ass.

The other two dreams that were new to me in the past few months involved the feeling of an electrical or magnetic field surrounding. Before these dreams, I knew nothing about electromagnetic radiation, HAARP, MKULTRA, etc. It was these two dreams that sent me own this road.

Anyway, the first was the feeling of being consumed by some sort of field of energy, but it was extremely humiliating and violating. Even though there was no type of communication, it was as if this "entity" was laughing their ass off at me like a group of guys gang raping a woman. There was nothing sexual about what was happening to me, it was just such a comprensive level of invasion of privacy and humiliation that the only word I can think to
descibe it is rape. This as well as the next event happened during a normal patten as if this thing stepped into my level of consciousness (sub-conscious if you are sleeping?).

The next situation was similar, except I was in a deam running from this thing (again, the only way I can describe it is an energy field). I was running because it was hurting me. Although they were not actually touching me with anything I could see, the feeling was that of somebody jaming broom sticks in to my ribs, stomach, inside of my thighs, and on the inside of my arms between my elbows and arm pits. This is the first time I had ever experienced any pain in these dreams. Even with my the "kill mission" stuff, there is no physical sensations other than the level #1 body can't move and the level #3 body feels the radical g-force's on my way to make someone a visit. In short, they were hurting me so bad I was trying to run, hide under tables, etc. anything to get away from them (it?). I was being totured and the pain was real. The inside of my arms and legs ended up brusing, but I helped somebody move the day before and that is the probable cause.

Sorry for writing so much. Bottom line is that I have no idea what the fuck is going, but i will tell you that it is full tilt. Seems hard to believe that anyone would care enough to fuck with me, but I don't know why I would self inflict this shit upon myself. I am not violent, don't watch violent movies or play the video game stuff, nor do I have any built up rage or anger that I need to subconciously unleash on the world.

I will say this. If in fact the MKULTRA stuff is real and people are consciously being controlled in the real world similar to the way that I am apparently being controlled in my dreams, holy fucking shit! Not only do I feel sorry for the poor bastards, but this would be something that they wouldn't and couldn't resist.

Fuck anyone in advance who is all geared up to say I am full of shit. I don't know what is happening to me, so I am posting this looking for insight. The above is all true stuff and there is far far more to the story, but this should give you an idea what I am going through. For the record, the insane violence stuff was not a part of the dreams I was having as a child. Things started to get really fucking dicey when I turned 20 or so.

Any real advice would be much appreciated.

My visions mostly happen after awakening. It´s after sleep but I am still not really awake. Then I always write down what I saw or heard.
My experiences with the paper I do sometimes in spare time, for instance when waiting for an answer when I sit at my computer or when I have a call. However, I do not really try it daily. Perhaps two or three times a month. I do not plan it. It happens like drawing on a paper when talking on the phone with someone.

Very interesting, I like the suggestions as well. I hadn't thought of the eating before sleeping, but it makes sense. I tend to do most things by force of will but it's nice making things easier sometimes.

Teleporting is my normal transport method in dreams now I've used it so often. I forget how I went it about it, but it sounds very similar to your method. I found for flying if I imagine being pulled instead of pushing I had far more control.

Tip, teleporting offers you a easy way to change your entire dream.

Your dreams are really intense, 6543. Before we talk about this a bit, do you fall asleep on your back or usually sleep on your back? Reason I ask, is that I have had the worst of my lucid dreams while sleeping that way. I don't know if it has to do with blood flow to the brain, or what, but I do think it somehow contributes to sleep paralysis/nightmares, possibly(?) What are your thoughts about this?

I do think that it's possible that MKUltra could be involved in some of this dream stuff, some sort of psychic training or abuse(?) Or, if not that, perhaps there are other reasons that would not be MKUltra, but would still deal with energy on another plane/in another state, and conditioning/misuse of that energy for manipulation purposes.

To feel taken over/paralyzed must be scary, even worse filled with a destructive desire that must be carried out in the dream state. I don't feel the field you are talking about physically when I move about in the dream world, but I know it is there. In my case, it feels like a breeze of some kind, almost--and I can hear it, a very low hum of some kind.

The woman in the red dress reminds me of a dream I had, maybe about two months ago, now. I was in a bank or large court building of some kind, in the lobby. The front of the lobby had large windows, and there was construction outside, but the daylight was coming through. There was a red carpet that was laid out from the front door to the other side of the lobby, where marble walls were...and corridors leading to elevators or something. I saw an annoying entity that likes to mess around with me in the dream state, he had made himself invisible...except for his sandals, which were brown, old-style leather. I just watched these sandals walk down the carpet...then behind him, a whole line of women who were wearing red dresses, and looked particularly emaciated, were walking in a line. They were tied up with white ropes so that they could walk, but their hands/wrists were tied behind their backs. Their dresses I remember quite well, as they were a combination of loose-flowing fabric and some sort of red patent-leather type material close to the bodice/neckline. One of the girls, a brunette, literally fell on me in the dream, and whispered like she was terrified, "Help me, please." I grabbed her, and went over to the marble wall, crouched down, and she knelt down on the floor and tried to hide her head and torso behind me. I became furious, and ran after the sandals. The entity was laughing, like an insane trickster, and I knew his name. I chased him down into the basement, where there was some sort of ritual/meeting going on, a lot of older men with greying hair/white hair, in business suits, lining the walls of the room and conversing to themselves, while a huge video screen (like a movie screen), played above. The basement room was dark, and vaulted, and had a second story balcony that wrapped around, like a cleared out movie theater or performance hall. I caught the invisible entity, and it seemed surprised. I told the entity it was not allowed to do what it did, and it must go back where it came from. I picked it up by the throat, and then shoved it down through the floor, and the floor closed up around it. The men with the grey hair stopped speaking amongst themselves when they heard me, watched what I did, and then seemed a little surprised. I didn't want to associate with them, and left.

This is a recurring theme I have in my dreams sometimes, I am not being attacked, but see others being attacked, and feel I need to do something.

If your dream happens again, AC, see if you can get a name out of the lady, or persons bothering you. If you can do that in the dream world, perhaps it can help you narrow down, or give some sort of lead for interpretive purposes.

Good luck, and wishing better dreams for you! hf

That sounds like a really interesting dream! Was it difficult to move around the sun, or did it seem to come effortlessly?

Re: Dreaming: Flying, Teleportation, Time-Travel, Dimensional Travel, Alternate Timelines

 Quoting: Stefan Parlow

Is this a journal entry from a waking dream/vision, Stefan? Rubber = pencil eraser(?) (just for clarity). Thank you for sharing your experiences. hf
 Quoting: Junkyard Lily

My visions mostly happen after awakening. It´s after sleep but I am still not really awake. Then I always write down what I saw or heard.
My experiences with the paper I do sometimes in spare time, for instance when waiting for an answer when I sit at my computer or when I have a call. However, I do not really try it daily. Perhaps two or three times a month. I do not plan it. It happens like drawing on a paper when talking on the phone with someone.

That's very interesting, Stefan--thank you for sharing. I've always found visions to be interesting phenomena. :-)

I did have one dream and it was related to the dream that has to do with be able to manifest the earth element through my own will. In the middle of my dream a guy came to me, I do not know who he is but he said take my hand and I did. We entered another dimension or realm we could see people but they were ghosts of themselves, is the only way I can explain it, but he kept telling me not to be afraid they would not harm me. We walked through this area and then all of the sudden it switched to me being captured in a force field type area. Someone was after an object I had and they captured me in this force field, the object was a perfectly round stone about twice the size of a rune stone, and it had a symbol on it although I do not remember what the symbol was exactly or what it looked like, I get flashes of what it might of been. I tried to manifest the earth element by bringing up the stone beneath me but I could only bring it up partially, the force field was to strong so I took the stone and threw it against a statue of a woman and shattered it, as in my dream I felt that was my only option, then I saw the guy I was with before run up to try and free me just as I passed out in my dream.

I still do not know what to make of that dream, but I do know that I do have some pretty theatrical dreams, lol.

I have never teleported before in a dream though, I bet it is fun though.

I think I started off flying vertically for more control but switched later to superman for more speed, after I got teleporting down I do not fly as often. :(

Have you tried to turning into a bird and flying yet? There's tons of cool things to do, you can even be a 3rd party in your own dream. I tend to do this by pulling on the hood of my coat, which makes me an invisible observer in my own dream.

Being able to manifest an element sounds like a lot of fun, I've never had that happen before in a dream, except for one time when I shot fire out of my hands (but, it is possible some sort of movie, video game, or something from my waking life crept in).

The fact that you had some control over the earth and your environment is good, even though it may have been a little frustrating at times, the capacity to get things done was there.

I also like the part where you said that people were walking around as ghosts of themselves in some sort of way. The only time I have seen that in a dream scenario is a time that I'm pretty sure I went into an OBE (similar to lucid dreaming, but not exactly the same). I went down to the street outside of my house, and people were walking around, like ghosts--it was in the middle of the night, and I asked someone what they were doing/who they were, and they said everything was fine, they were just asleep and in their astral body, everyone I was seeing was alive and dreaming.

If you have any other dream experiences, please feel free to share! afro

I have the difficulty with flying thing now and then, too! Sometimes I have to start by floating/levitating, and it takes about a minute or two until I can push/pull myself a bit higher. It's frustrating when I want to go faster and my body is not cooperating at first, lol--have you had that happen when you have difficulty moving? Almost like the "engine" has to power-up or something.

With flying, once I'm at about tree-top level, it's all good, and I don't usually have any problems. Sad to hear you don't fly as often with the teleporting. :-( I hope I don't lose the flying, it certainly is a lot of fun.

Have you had the whole feeling of being able to walk through walls too, pass through objects, disperse yourself and coalesce, etc.? I haven't turned into a bird, I'll have to try and see if I can do that! :-D It's cool that you're able to pull on your hood and become an invisible observer. I have had dreams where I have seen myself, from an outside perspective, but I don't think it's been lucid. I know I can go invisible at will in lucid states, once or twice I've been caught, though. chuckle It's fun, anyways.

Love your experiences, please feel free to share more, whenever you feel like. sun

Good luck, and wishing better dreams for you! hf

Hey Lily, thanks for the response. I don't have the time to share much right now, so I will tell a little more later. In general, I sleep on my side, and as I mentioned before this stuff happens withen minutes of falling to sleep. This would seem to contradict the various sleep cycles and perhaps reaching a different level of consciousness.

Got to run, but I will stay in touch.

Re: Dreaming: Flying, Teleportation, Time-Travel, Dimensional Travel, Alternate Timelines

 Quoting: Coma Patient #7

Thanks for contributing here, sounds like you are a very capable traveler! I like your tips, too. Do you find that when you fly you are oriented in a particular way? When I fly in my dream, I am almost always vertical, I don't do the "Superman" type flying, so much.

superman

Thanks for the input! hf
 Quoting: Junkyard Lily

You're welcome Lily and yes I practiced a lot in my youth "mostly for sports". It's either for me but I may tend to do superman more often. When I fly now it's most often because I'm having difficulty moving in my dream and I'm often in a semi-prone position at those times.

 Quoting: Coma Patient #7

Love your experiences, please feel free to share more, whenever you feel like. sun

lol, yes that's a pretty good description like an engine powering up. I've always had a problem with the flying speed, it never seems fast enough for me. :D

I was going to mention the walking through walls, that's a nice one. The dispersing yourself I've done a few times, normally in nightmares when something is attacking me. I'll disperse then enter the attacker, fun things happen then. I think that was one of my main reasons for getting good at most of this, to combat my nightmares. I don't have many nightmares anymore.

Lol that's funny being caught hiding in your dream. Hiding in my dreams is kind of a new for me, I do find the 3rd party aspect of dreaming intriguing. Even in my own mind apparently life will go on just fine with out me? What the hell?

It's great to be able to talk about these experiences, thank you, Coma. hf

Yeah, it would be really nice to go super fast while flying...I guess a lot of the time I probably am going fast, but am up high, so it almost looks like the view outside an airplane window, is it similar for you?

I've never tried to enter an attacker in a nightmare when dispersing, great idea! What has happened when you've done that?

Yes, I think lucid dreaming is very good for combating nightmares, I haven't had any while lucid dreaming, because I've always been able to turn the situation around, no matter how bad, I'm guessing it might be similar for you, too! :-)

The hiding thing is funny, I think I've only been somewhat caught once or twice, and then I have to fix myself so I'm more "invisible" lol, or I get out of a room/go through a wall quick, etc. :-) It is funny how a dream just seems to carry on, never mind our vantage sometimes, isn't it?

Many thanks hf

I agree,

Yes that's very similar to mine, when I go fast I tend to have a problem seeing the ground, you have that problem? When you enter them they panic a little, you can sense their confusion and emotions, it's very odd feeling. I normally hang out for a couple seconds and maybe mess with a couple things then leave, I haven't had one bother me after that. ;)

Yes that's it exactly for me, it's part of the reason I started lucid dreaming. You know I still get some minor nightmares, like forgetting to pay rent or something. But any major nightmare is automatically dealt with. So how long have you been lucid dreaming?

lol that just cracks me up, but I think know how you feel. I've been caught doing similar things in my own dreams and always end up feeling guilty in the dream like I did something wrong. Yes it is, the mind is a wonderful thing.

I sometimes have trouble seeing the ground, but usually suffer worst with that if I'm flying during nighttime in my dream. In that case, I try to take really big "leaps" rather than fly.

Oh, I have the random bad dream like the forgetting to pay rent type, too, those for me usually aren't lucid, so I wind up not being able to do anything about it because I don't realize I'm dreaming, same for you?

I've been lucid dreaming for as long as I can remember, but started writing about it when I was about 11 or 12 years old. I have dreams in my old diary I've run across that talk about flying, etc. at that age. How about you?

The guilt thing in the dream, similar type thing here, lol.

I had another very odd lucid dream the other night. This dream was so lucid, I actually said out loud in the dream, "This is not a lucid dream...this is beyond lucid!" I was in a house, sitting on the floor, looking at the carpet...I knew I was dreaming, and knelt closer and could see all of the individual fibers, and ran my hand over it and could feel the carpet really well.

In this dream, I was time traveling. I've done that twice before that I can remember in the past year, but this one went beyond that. I was time traveling, but time traveling into the past into a parallel time line, of some sort. It was supposed to be May 7, 1997 (I asked the date), and I went back and forth between that time and present-day about fifteen times in the dream. Each time, the scenery around me changed, completely in line with what I was dreaming, as if I was not creating any of the surroundings, I was just witnessing something that exists and was already there.

Have you had any lucid time travel dreams? I can not remember doing it, except in the past year.

The best I've had was moving yhe sun around the sky at will and regulating it's temperature. Then going to swim.
 Quoting: Abyss Lady

That sounds like a really interesting dream! Was it difficult to move around the sun, or did it seem to come effortlessly?
 Quoting: Junkyard Lily

I reached my hand towards the sun, then just moved the hand, and the sun moved easily with it. Making it warmer was done just by thinking.

I still can't figure out, why it did just that after realizing that I am at lucid state in the dream. Probably the gray and dreary winter days are taking their toll.

Unfortunately I only go lucid maybe once every couple of months. I still have a lot to learn :)

I think that's a pretty cool dream to have. :-) Yes, the weather may have to do with it, I agree...a little "extra" sun for those blah days. :-)

Let us know if you have any other lucid dreams! Another tip for having them I remembered is setting an alarm for about two or three hours before your usual waking time. Stay up for about five or ten minutes, and then go back to sleep, immediately. It sometimes helps trigger the lucid ones.

Have fun!hf
