After reading the post today about the chick wanting to get married and a gentleman posted men today want to feel needed and not deal with Fem-Nazis.

What I was getting at in that posting is a matter of why I think that young men seem to have zero interest in marriage. Why would they want to deal with it? They're told from birth that since they have a penis, they're stupid, worthless, have nothing to offer etc etc. Even if they're not told directly, just look at any TV sitcom. The husband is always some drooling moron that needs to drop to his knees and worship the brilliant goddess he is lucky to have around to think for him. Then these young men look at the statistics that more than 50% of marriages end in divorce, followed by up to 50% of their gross earnings being garnished to pay for alimony and child support. It's a rough world for these young men and women today do not provide them with the emotional support they need to drive their family to success. Okay, you are talking about the young generation. Heck I am wondering about mine. The older ones 43 and up. Sure, I'll play. I'm 42, that's close enough I think. What I seek in a partner is just that, a PARTNER. Like I said to my fiance before we ended up splitting up was pretty to the point: "I'll be the engine that drives us, you steer the wheel to get us there!" As for attributes, sure I would want my partner to be attractive to me. This is true for anyone. They don't have to be something everyone else sees as "hot", just so long as *I* find her attractive, then the physical love will never die. As for personality attributes, I would love to find a woman that carries herself with grace and dignity. Someone that almost glows with her pride and wisdom. I feel that a woman should allow the man to take the lead, but be strong enough to verbally slap the hell out of him in private if he's gotten out of line. A true partner. good answer thank you for that
