1. Attractiveness. You don't have to be a super model or a figure model; but I don't spend 4 days a week at the gym trying to look good for you while you sit on the couch. Being able to exercise together is important.

2. Smart. I expect you to have your own opinion and beliefs and be able to back them up and defend them because I sure as hell have my own and can do the same. I NEED intelligent conversation and I expect you to be able to provide that.

3. Educated. It doesn't matter so much where you were educated or to what level; but that whether you were self-taught or educated at a University you know at least a little bit about everything. I don't want to talk about celebrities and the royal family with you. I want to talk about things that matter. Like sociology, philosophy, history and world events. Couldn't afford college? Well, spend some time on Wikipedia and you can get a 40,000 education for free.

4. Understanding. If you can't understand what I have been through and how that has shaped me, we aren't going to get along too well. I will provide the same to you as well. We might not have to same experiences in life but if we are going to share our lives together, it's going to be pretty important.

5. Career. 7-11 isn't a career. Nor is stay at home mom in my opinion (I might get some flack for that one). I expect you to at least work a job that pays decent or at least one that you love and helps pay some bills. Having a family one one income just isn't a realistic expectation anymore in America.

6. Fun. You should be able to laugh and smile and enjoy my affection. I want to be able to flirt with you and I want you to flirt with me. I hope that you like aimless drives and trips for no reason. I should feel like I am hanging out with a friend when we spend time together.
