Getting set up, means clearing your field of fear, and by that I mean the thing most people are afraid of is feeling their feelings. We deny, project, medicate and repress them like there's no tomorrow. Mostly its the old repressed emotions from childhood that have to be coughed back up through the system. We are too afraid to do that. Nice course of good original pain type therapy work is good for this.
I don't know if others are experiencing this but I have been experiencing many emotions that I had buried from my childhood and it has been a very difficult journey for sometime now.
Quoting: duncog2012 Its natural for the body to reject, push out that which is not in accord with it...like a sliver will work its way up out the skin a lot of the time. It will help to think of the repressed feelings as coming up out of your inner child, picture holding/comforting the child part of you as the child releases the old crap. Try not to assign it to the here and now or you will recycle the same energy over and over. Attaching it to the source trauma/drama of childhood will transmute it into love for yourself. It will be the first time someone sat with 'Little' and allowed him/her to FULLY and SAFELY process and release those energies. We are generally encouraged (often forbidden) from feeling these emotions in childhood as they make caretakers uncomfortable.
