If I'm not mistaken this use to be done as some tribal thing where they stretched the skull early on after birth, and they were able to do so since the body is still very fragile and easy to manipulate. I just think it is weird that they found 13 of them. I am sure we will not hear about this ever again and they will be hidden away in the Smithsonian. |
