One reason I have not purchased a firearm lately is I fear being added to a government database as a potential troublemaker... and I am embarrassed to admit this. But I failed to even conceive or ever imagine that gun ownership info would be used like this. What a nightmare... This will surely forward the mission of restricting our rights through fear and intimidation. Does not mean they actually own or have a gun at that address. And map does not show owners of non-permited firearms like shotguns. Of course map has nothing to do with illegal weapons. Simply an invasion of privacy for law abiding citizens. Also, Newtown shooter would not be included if he lived there. |
